open work permit processing time

hello everyone i just want to know processing time of open work permit.

CIC website says 4 months ... but if u check in VFS thy say 20 days ... n things differ from case to case .. so all we can do is aplly n wait .... thts it

I would ALWAYS go with CIC at any given point of time. VFS does courier service between you and CIC and they have ABSOLUTELY no control over the application.

In the CIC site, the given timings are from average time taken to process the applicaiton in last quarter.
we all know that in the last quarter has been effected due to strike. Hence the time taken was increased drastically.

But i still feel that it will take 30 days to process.
