OPEN WORK PERMIT MISSING ON MAIL

Hi guys anybody here exp.missing mail ?? i had open work permit renewed they grant oct 22 last month but the thing is i didnt get it yet i keep calling cic only they say they grant and wait its in the MAIL.... its been 1 month in the mail????? i am so sad i dont know what to do anybody any idea how can i truck it... PLS GUYS THANK U

I am also experiencing the same problem. I got my closed work permit issued and mailed on 13-Nov-2012 and did not get it yet. I am in Toronto. God knows why its takes so long to come that too in today's world.

@jetz i know but i am worried coz i need my work permit to my job... but the cic guys say that i am allowed to work till oct 2013 how its work if my work permit is expired huh!!!!! what the heck? :'(

Check with Canadapost. Failing that, if you have a valid temporary resident visa, you can consider going to the border and ask if they would give you a print out of it or request another copy. It's also possible CIC thinks they mailed it but they haven't yet.

I am dealing with the same problem now. My open work permit is missing in the mail and I've been calling cic about it and they said they already mailed it. How did u got yours? I got an email from them January 9th 2013 that they will going to send the open work permit separately and it will be mailed to me but until now I haven't gotten any I need it right away for my job. hi Yffam they grant mine oct.then i wait wait nothing i keep phone cic but no answer all i got is wait... they need to wait 6 week after the said date they sent it to me then after 6 week waiting phone them again that i didnt got it for sure then they issued new one.... finally got new one after a week... u cant do anything about it juts wait 6 week if no then phone again then they will give u new one... hope u will get it soon so stressful big time

hi angelstar for me u can renew ur work permit asap coz takes 3 to 4mos and mine took almost 5mos and missing in the mail to be safe.. do it right away

hello honeygirl..i started gathering all the needed requirements to renew my work permit and pass it right away.i have a question...in application form page 3of 5..question number 6, Labor Market Opinion Number,which one is that...i found an LMO confirmation on my old LMO but im not sure if that is the one...what did u wrote on yours?im with the same employer so i dont need to get new one...

If u have old one and still valid u can submit together with ur application... Same employer rite? Thats what i did when i renew my work permit b4... If not valid ur employer is the one need to get for u
