Hi,

I am a dependant and on an Open Work Permit. I have recently completed my 1-year work experience as a Software Tester in Canada.
And, I have a job offer, stating, the company would provide me job for 1 year after pr-visa is obtained. Also, the job is lmi exempt.

1. Am i eligible for the job offer 50 points.
2. Under which program should i apply, fsw or pnp or cec.

1. Yes. Sorry, no. Didn't see that you were on an OWP.
2. If you have a year of skilled Canadian work experience, you must apply under the CEC, not as a FSW.

You need an approved LMIA to claim the 50 job offer points under Express Entry since you are on an open work permit with no employer named. You would only be able to claim the 50 points without an LMIA if you were on a closed work permit with the employed named.

I have an LMIA. And I am getting my work permit soon. Can I use that for PR?
With LIMA and one year work experience in Canada, you should get 100 points in EE, and if your score is 470 or above, it is safe to assume you will get ITA.
