My work permit under the new policy has been finally approved!

Applied: 28 Jan
Approved: 19 Feb

I have a question, so I have selected that I am applying under same employer instead of applying for first time or new employer!! Is it ok?? What did you selected!

I selected same employer as well because of 2 reasons:-

1. PGWP is open work permit so your current employer is OPEN

2. It does not really affect the application as long as you included the letter of explanation under Client Info that you applying under public policy

18 Feb - Allowed to work till 4 July

Has anyone applied for an open work permit under a public policy? I am wondering whether it is required to submit medical exam for that.. My initial PR Medical exam is expired and I am wondering whether should I undergo new one...

Hi,

In the IMM5710E form, which option do we select for the open work permit extension under the public policy for the following question?

I am applying for one or more of the following:

1. Work permit with same employer
2. Work permit for the first time or new employer
3. Restore my status as a worker
4. Get a new temporary resident permit

I would like to get my work permit extended for 18 months.
