I didn't pay the entire amount at first either because it was quite confusing. However, I have been working with my local Member of Parliament's office and they checked with immigration for me to make sure they knew I had paid the amount. Just a thought but maybe check with your local MP's office and see if they can email CIC and let them know you have made the payment. Good luck to you!

Yes that is totally fine. It does not matter if you resend the one they sent back, or if you print off and send a new one, as long as everything is included that needs to be included.

So same thing happened to me this week. Forgot to pay the fee and found it back in my inbox. The things they haven’t sent back are the copies of passport etc. And the statutory declaration of common law form.. I called immigration today and they said to just add the receipt of new payment and send it back but I only now see that those things aren’t sent back. Do I have to get those forms again or they have them still on file? And how to now do it with the checklist? Send the old one? Or a letter to explain? I just don’t know and I have a week until my working holiday visa I’m on.now expires.

So basically my question is if they had sent you guys back all copies or passport and other documents or only checklist & imm form 5710?
So do they mean with send back the entire package what they’ve sent back or again adding all documents?

I'm currently working in Canada, have a work permit for my current job, ends Dec 2019. I applied PNP and have applied for PR. PR is currently reviewing background check. Im applying for OWP. Ive already paid $100 holder fee, do i need to pay $155 as im already working and have a permit or is the OWP its own work permit? I haven't sent application in yet, just need to verify if i need to pay if its required. haven't seen online version either

What are you confused about?? Pay the fee and fax the receipt.

hello everyone!
need some help please!
My application was received November 30, I didn’t receive anything back yet, and i realized i payed wrong for open work (I payed $100 for the Open Work Permit Holder Fee, but didn't know I also have to pay $155 for the Work Permit Application Fee) . so I’m worried they might return my application. I payed today, but how can I let them know I made a payment? I cannot use IRCC Web form as I don’t have client id number etc. what should I do before they return it? Thank you!

update:
even though I paid and got a confirmation from IRCC, they still sent me back my OWP.
I resend it on Feb 14 to Edmonton station 777. Received Feb 19. Couldn't link my application yet.
Does anyone know how long it takes before I can link it?

Same happened to me and still not able to link it, my OWP was resent on Feb 27th and received on march 4th, unable to link it either!!!!!

Anyone here who had surpass the waiting game after OWP had been returned or resubmitted due to any reasons?

How long did you have to wait after resubmission? Hope anybody can share if it took 2-3 months again?
