Hi there,

I have a questions, I have my open work permit issued last Febuary 2014. Got my open permit from my hubby who is in NOC B.
I am planning to apply on Feb 2015 under CEC, using my open work permit.

Unfortunately there are some problems on his paystub and we have doubts for him to apply under CEC. But we will still apply his on the next month.

If ever he got refused, As open work permit, I have the position of Administrative Manager or NOC 0114. Can I also apply under CEC?
My employer is also willing to nominate me, but AINP process plus CIC will take 2-3 yrs.

One more thing, my hubby got the CELPIP results of 7 6 7 5,
5 in speaking? We are just confused on the chart from CIC website. There is a line that NOC B - CLB Level = 6 in all ability
and there is another line that NOC B - CLB Level = 5 in all ability/

Thank you in advance for your replies!

I recently reviewed the requirements in detail for language testing. The chart is indeed confusing. For a NOC B job, minimum scores of 5 is required for all sections (CELPIP).

If your NOC is indeed 0114, you can apply under CEC. Paystub is not a mandatory document but a supporting one. If your husbands T4 is correct and so is the letter of reference, he should be OK.
