Hi Guys - I have a question ...
My Wife does not have any surname in her passport just the first name ....I am filling the post ITA application; and in family information when i put her name as per passport details it is not accepting it without surname ...I tried putting the First name in Surname and keeping the first name blank (this i read while applying for work permit one of my friend had same prob and it was asked to put given name in surname as surname is mandatory not the first name)
but here nothing is working ...how should i complete the form ? anyone faced same situation ...pls share your experience. Thanks in advance !!!

Hi I got aa mail from Cic today requesting for schedule 4 and schedule 4a. After going through the forms I found only schedule 4 is applicable for me as I got nominated in CEC category.

But when I login to my application, I see both 4 and 4a is required. Anybody who has already submitted these forms please guide me.

Submit an LOE instead of 4a specifying that 4a is not relevant for you as you are not a business applicant.

Check the forum most have done this..

Got the nomination certificate in the mail by courier today. Next is the wait for ITA. :fingerscrossed:

If u r within ontario..u shud receive in 2-3 days

Medicals: Passed (8th Oct.)
BG check: In-progress (8th Oct.)
Schedule-4 requested/submitted: 8th Oct.

Probably these updates are missing in my column and it appeared at Mario_AB, by mistake, it seems!!

What do you mean by surname?

Your surname is your family name. It is sometimes called your “last name.” If your name is spelled differently on your official documents, please write your name as shown in your passport. When filling out applications, type your surname as it appears on your passport, travel or identity document or any letters you got from the visa office or case processing centre where you sent your application (even if the name is misspelled). Do not use initials.

If you do not have a surname on your passport, travel or identity document, enter all your given name(s) in the surname field, write “not applicable” or “N/A” in the given name field.

In given name write "not applicable" and in write the name in surname section....one of my friends had this issue last year in FSW program and he was advised by cic to do this...i am not sure if this still works....you can attach a explanation letter on this aswell...

Hey guys,

I recently got nominated with OINP and hopefully will be getting an ITA in next draw. I am currently working in Alberta (CEC) and would like to know when do i have to move to Ontario?
Do I have to move right now or can i make my EE application from Alberta itself (coz my work exp is from Alberta)?
Please let me know if you guys have any information on this...

Guys, I submitted my application on OCt 7th.. and still no updates to medical or schedule 4 document request
..few days back,I got ghost email saying that application updated..when I check online...I dont see any updates..
few members mentioned that they received,schedule 4 request with in week after submission.. at least my medicals should have passed now as I did my medicals on sept 14th.

Sorry may be my question is not this thread but I got my nomination today and accepted the nomination notification from my express entry(mycic account) but 600 point havent been reflected into my profile yet. Is something else I need to do or am I missing something? help required asap
