Hi Rafyz,

Thanks for sharing the list.

I have a question regarding the Birth Certificate. Do we have to provide original Birth Certificate or a photocopy of the birth certificate?

If photo copy is enough should that be notarized?

Also do we have to send a copy of our current resume along with all the documents to Ontario? My process consultant asked me to send a current copy of resuem but he is not sure about it.

Thanks
If your birth certificate is in english, then just a photocopy would suffice. If you got it translated in english or french, then you need to get the translated paper notarized and send the original translated paper along with photocopy of original birth certificate.

Regarding resume, you need to attach the most recent one.

Hi Rafzy,

People who have no ties to Ontario whatsoever are getting an invite. How can these people show "ties to Ontario"? They can include a letter declaring their sincere intent to settle in Ontario but I'm not sure how one can prove ties when they don't have any?

Could somebody please clarify this?
You can give details of your relatuves, friends or professional contacts residing in ontario.
If you have none, then you can write a letter explaining your sincere intent to reside in ontario by highlighhting your job search goals, health care, and other things about ontario that interests you.

Hope it helps

I haven't written the letter yet. I'm still waiting for a PT. I was just enquiring about what to write in that section.

This is my letter of intent to reside in ontario ... For you reference

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade
400 University Avenue, Ground Floor
Toronto, Ontario
M7A 2R9

Subject: Letter of Intent to Reside in Ontario

Dear Sir/Madam,

Through this letter, I would like to confirm my intention to reside in Ontario.

I am Rafzy. At the time of my application submission, I am 28 years old male. I am well qualified applicant, with 18 years of full-time education. Currently, I hold one Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering and one Master of Science degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Engineering by research. I have above 2 years of full-time work experience in occupation described under Skill ‘A’ of National Occupational Qualifications (NOC) 2133.

The province of Ontario is an economic and technological hub with world class universities and all type of industries including Electronics Design and Manufacturing industries. Based on National Occupational Classification code (NOC) 2133 mentioned above, my professional work experience, my linguistic abilities and my qualifications, I am very much confident in getting a job that suits my profile.

My listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in English language are Excellent as reflected by my IELTS report attached with my application. Further, I have completed all my education in English language and using English at work on daily basis.

As I am planning to immigrate to a new place, my language skills will play a major role in establishing good social connections within this new community. This will not only help me to grow professionally, but will also help me in settling down and be accepted in a community having such cultural diversity.

Moreover, my uncle XYZ (my mother’s real brother) is a Canadian Citizen and has been residing in Ontario since 1997 with his family. Their presence and guidance will make it much easier and simpler for me to adopt the culture and lifestyle that the province provides.

Documentation:

In order to prove my uncle’s blood relation with my mother and his current residence status in Ontario province, I am providing following documents attached and arranged in the same order as listed;

1. Copy of my Uncle’s Secondary School Certificate Copy.
2. Copy of My Mother’s Secondary School Certificate Copy.
3. My Uncle’s Canadian Passport Bio-Page Copy (Citizenship Document).
4. My Uncle’s Ontario Province Driving License (Front-side & Back-side Copy).
5. My Uncle’s Ontario Province Health Card (Front-side & Back-side Copy).
6. My Uncle’s Security Clearance card of XYZ Company Canada (Front-side & Back-side Copy).
7. My Uncle’s Residence Utility Bill (Water and Sanitary Sewer Bill)

I look forward to your expedient processing of my application. Should any questions arise about anything, please do not hesitate to contact me at the coordinates listed in my application.

Sincerely,
Rafzy

You guys can make amendments in this letter as per your requirements but don't try to copy paste it.

If you guys need any further help, feel free to drop me a message any time. Good luck all with your applications.[/size]

Just to clarify, you need your name and date of birth on the back. Not the date of photo. That's according to the application guide.

Hello Friends,
I really need your help here.
I had created my profile for Express Entry and yesterday I got an email from CIC that they they are interested in my profile for Ontario PNP Human Capital.

My work permit has expired last week and now I am suppose to send my documents to CIC for OINP. The question is am I eligible to apply for OINP after getting an invitation if my work permit is already expired?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

Hello Folks,

Am really coming out cold on this... I received an interest letter from Ontario PNP just last night. Have a few questions:

- Is there a phone number that I can call Ontario to clarify things?
- Is there a whatsapp group for those pursuing PNP?
- Where can I read what's the difference in getting PR via PNP and without it (except the restriction that we should work in Ontario)?
- Any FAQ links?

Any help is really appreciated.

Cheers

The contact number should be in ontario website. A quick search on google should do the trick.

I have seen some threads floating around for ontario whatsapp. Make a search in forum and you will get the answer.

Getting PR via ontario will cost you additional 1500 dollars and extra 3 to 4 months to get nomination/ITA.

wait for the Pt from OONP. They select some and not all / They have thier policy to select from NOC and English level marks and other things. Its not that you have 400 crs and you get it. U need to have 400 to qualify. I am also at 438 and not receiving the PT
A close friend of mine got OINP invitation at 336 points. Even if you have less than 400 CRS point, you may get OINP invite despite of the rules laid out. Please read below:

The Ontario PNP program was changed in July 2017 to consider candidates with scores below 400 points, who have experience in IT occupations. The list of eligible in-demand occupations are as follows:
  • NOC 0131: Telecommunication Carriers Managers
  • NOC 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers
  • NOC 2133: Electrical and Electronics Engineers
  • NOC 2147: Computer Engineers (Except Software Engineers and Designers)
  • NOC 2171: Information Systems Analysts and Consultants
  • NOC 2172: Database Analysts and Data Administrators
  • NOC 2173: Software Engineers and Designers
  • NOC 2174: Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers
  • NOC 2175: Web Designers and Developers
  • NOC 2241: Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technologists and Technicians
  • NOC 2281: Computer Network Technicians
  • NOC 2282: User Support Technicians
  • NOC 2283: Systems Testing Technicians
  • NOC 5224: Broadcast Technicians
  • NOC 5241: Graphic Designers and Illustrators
