OOPNP and Implied Status

Great News!
My Friend has just received Nomination in MyCIC today though he was on an Implied Status!!!

Following are his Timeline:-
Application Received: June 17th
Work Permit Expired - July 20th; Applied for Work Permit Extension on July 18th (Now on Implied Status).
AOR: July 22nd
Call from OINP: August 10th - The Officer Told that they will give the decision in a Week, but today he got his Nomination.

Just read this on the main OOPNP - Acknowledgment Received topic.

Looks like there is still hope!!!
