I am applying for OONP. Do I need to provide character certificate from police as well? Its not mentioned anywhere on the application form, yet I see many people getting one. It would be really nice if someone can clarify this. Thanks!

Ofc it's not increase.

You just need to show minimum funds and it will not increase your chances, just make you eligible.

hi! whats the norm for entering job details in personal and work history for last 10 years if I have worked at the same firm in same dept but 3 different positions? should I mention each position separately like experience letter or I can use single experience as the dept and noc have remained same thorough out?

I have total 11yrs of exp.
1. 4 Yrs and 3 months in the current company with reference letter
2. 2yr in previous employment with reference letter
3. 2 yrs with second employer with no reference letter.
4. 2 years with first employer with no reference letter.

My Consultant was telling me that only 6 years of work experience, In the last 10 years, with reference letters will suffice. No need for those 5 years of ref letter.
Is this true ?

Kindly help me out as i am filling the application form.

Well, I am no expert to suggest, but I got the advice on this forum to get a job reference from ex colleague if possible and use bank statement to show the employment. I guess you should share as much as you can provide, rest is in the hands of VO. I am doing the same thing.

It is enough if you have the minimum required funds. Anything that above that is okay but you will NOT be treated any differently, IMO.
