Hi Gurus,

My company applied for my PNP, my provincial nominee is cleared, and my case is current,y with federal folks, and I recently had given my medical, about close to a month ago, and my company lawyers say my application to fedral dept is submitted in December, does any one know what time frame I can expect with PR process completed ? What month is currently in progress ? Am looking for rough month, so I can play my trips accordingly,

Currently chic website says it takes 13 months, does it really take that long ? Please let me know your thoughts

Hey
I am not here to answer your question but instead ask you one (sorry about this)...how long did it take for your Ontario PNP nomination? I am going to apply under the Master's graduate stream later this year but I have heard several rumours than it is taking much longer than 90 days to get the nomination certificate. I spoke to one guy who got this nomination in 8 months. Could you please share your timeline?
And again, really sorry for posting an off-topic message.

Definitely more than 3 months because they will always ask for more papers.
I would say as far as I heard, it should take about 6 or 7 months, but I am not sure

Ontario Provincial Nominee Program received my Nominee Application Package in early January, 2013. I haven't heard anything from them ever since. Is there anybody recently got approved within 90 days?

IT TAKES 5 MONTHS AT LEAST. MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW UP AFTER 90 DAYS.. AND THEN THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR MORE DOCUMENTS, MAY BE SALARY STUBS...

Hello Ameet747, I echo with narmer1986, it takes more than 3 months to get the nomination approved under O-PNP program. I applied for O-PNP nomination under International Masters Student category, on September 20th 2012 - acknowledgement received : November 1st week, requesting for additional documents - submitted again in last week of November - Quota for 2012 was filled, so they put my application on hold - received the nomination on Feb 28th - sent my application to CIO (CIC processing) on April 4th 2013. So altogether, it took 5 months to receive nomination certificate. I am not sure what are the factors involved in processing -if having a job cold boost the chances for quick approval ... may be ... have a look at this scenario - one of my friends who applied in June 2012, haven't received his nomination yet !! On the other hand one of my acquaintances received the nomination in less than two months !! In earlier case, he was not having a job at that time, and in later, this guy was having a permanent full time job. Whereas in my case i was working full time on a one year contract.

BTW ..... anyone applied for CIC processing after nominated under International Masters Gradaute stream from O-PNP ?

Cheers

Application received by NS - 21 Mar 2013

Hi,

my boyfriend wants to apply for PNP, and his status is Common-law with me. But I am a Canadian citizen. Am I included in his application? Am I a dependant?
Also do we need to provide proof if we are common-law for this category? Why they require a Common-Law declaration form?

How can I present myself as a common-law who does not need a PR and already have one?

I am confused, as I think as I do not need to get a PR AGAIN I am not included in his application and they should not request proof for our relationship.

Also:

Should I fill this form?
Additional family information (IMM 5406)

in the guide it says:

"Who needs to fill out this application form?

This form must be completed by:

You, as the principal applicant
Your spouse or common-law partner (whether accompanying you to Canada or not), and
Your dependent children aged 18 or over (whether accompanying you to Canada or not)"

but again keep in mind that I am already a canadian citizan
