I am glad that this thread exists. My initial PT notification, which I received within a day I created my first profile back in December, expired, not really, but had only 2 days left so I felt it is risky to send my package in such short span so created the profile again sometime in mid-Feb and I didn't receive the notification until now and I was getting nervous until I came to this thread.

Thanks everyone. Let's hope our boat sails through with no qualms and doesn't face a cyclone or something!

I had created a profile on Feb 24th and have not got any NOI from Ont. So i sent them a mail and a reply comes back saying " your application is in a queue waiting to be reviewed by an officer"..

But i didnt even get an NOI and i haven't sent any application....

How long did it take you to get the reply after you sent them the email?

Wow, that is very quick. I sent an email to them yesterday and there was an automatic reply that they will reply within 15 days.

Hope I will get a note from them soon too

Yes, WE should all send them an email for this issue, so atleast they are aware that many applicants are facing this issue and work on it if they want.

OMG Papasi.. How i really wish it was that easy... No dear... i sent an email to enquire if my profile is active on their system. but to my surprise they replied saying "application has been received".. But i didn't even get a NOI.

I'm sure everybody is waiting and praying for the NOI itself.

That's their automated standard reply. They expect only those who have sent OINP applications to write them and hence that kind of reply. Wait for 15 or more days to get answer that is suitable to your question.

Sorry, my question might be stupid, but... Should I apply for OINP separately or it is enough to apply for EE with the score 400+?

I have 446 and applied only for EE but hopefully want to get OINP

You'll have to wait to be nominated by Ontario. Generally people who get above 400 points get nominated. For now, it seems they're not issuing any nomination until June. Monitor this thread as we expect updated information.

Does everyone (who are waiting for PT notification) has application status "OPEN" ??
