On February 13, 2020, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream. If you received a NOI, you do not need to contact the program.

The OINP targeted candidates with a CRS between 467 and 471, and work experience in the following NOC codes:

  • 0111 Financial managers
  • 0114 Other administrative services managers
  • 0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers
  • 0601 Corporate sales managers
  • 0621 Retail and wholesale trade managers
  • 0651 Managers in customer and personal services, n.e.c.
  • 1111 Financial auditors and accountants
  • 1114 Other financial officers
  • 1122 Professional occupations in business management consulting
  • 3012 Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
To be eligible for nomination, applicants must demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes. Your application may be refused if you do not demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes.

Hello everyone.

Need guidance as I have no clue about PNP Streams. Just got a Territorial Interest Letter from Ontario today. My CRS is 467 with Primary NOC 0621.

Can someone guide me how to go forward with it?

you would make a choice either to apply for ON PNP or wait for EE draw - depending on your status

This draw has really disheartened me, how many people with CRS 467-471 going to accept the NOI, I really doubt that.
People in the CRS 467-471 will be hoping to get ITA soon under EE. I don't think many will be opting for the OINP.

I agree with you. They must wait for EE draw.

When do u think EE CRS Score will ever drop to 467?

Hi there;
I received my confirmation of the nomination last year, in November sent the application in paper for the permanent resident to Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and today my entire application was returned because I forgot signing with a pen two formats, (IMM0008 and Schedule 4), anyway, my question is about the letter of explanation why my application was return talks about my provincial nominee certificate has expired (December 30th).
They mention "if an extension is approved, the province will provide an approval letter.
My question is:
How do I get an extension of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program?
thank in advance for your help.

NOC 2171 | CRS - 453

Now even the PNP seems difficult. Let's hope OINP gets a little soft on the cut -offs in future draws.

You need to contact province which have nominated you. i believe, they will ask you to send letter of explanation with other details and then they will extent your nomination.

Hi everyone...

I need your advice - I received a letter of interest from Ontario on Thursday and hesitant if I should accept or not. My CRS is 468, which is very good, I do believe the cut off will go to this level sooner or later. I also have the option of reattempting IELTS, where I will be able to get my score above 470.

What is your opinion? Should I accept this or wait for an ITA?
Given my CRS, how long will I have to wait until I get the ITA.
If I accept it, how long will I be restricted to live in Ontario?
Any idea how long does the processing of my papers etc take place once I upload the supporting documents? Once you accept, is it exactly the same process as receiving the ITA?

If you have any useful information, please do provide!

Waiting here too.
Still need the current job letter and payslips from my company once the stream is open :)
Does job offer need to have LMIS to qualify for international student with job offer? Or just a normal permanent job offer will do?

Hi,

Is it true that OINP-HCP looks at NOC, Age and Study for choosing the applicants for issuing a NOI? Is AGE a factor for a NOI?

Age is a factor for CRS.. and basis the CRS they decide whom to select, however they also mention that not everyone with CRS and Noc will get the call.
