Don't think so. I applied on 4th of Mar and my status is still stuck at assessment.

Yes it is. I am just wondering following:

They have stated also several occupations, from which most of them are FST. Ok so far fair enough.
I can still understand that a trade specialist may manage to get 400 points if he or she is already working several years in Canada and has a very good English level.

But where exactly do you have to finish 3 years studies in University (one for the conditions of HCP), in order to become plumber, bricklayer or painter?

And if you already have those 400 points and you have an employer that wants to hire you, why not use 50 points from LMIA to go directly?

I still dont know. Looks like its just priority. I think they still sending some noi to other noc codes....mayb luck....?

U r done, next is wait for ur nomination certificate, and fill ur paper based pr .

wow.. congo.. when u applied?? You will get nomination letter within 1 to 2 days

Just incase if you don't know, please take a look at the update on OINP facebook and official webpage. They are issuing new ITA from today to 14th april.

a) not many people registered for OINP from the 1st batch of NOI's sent (feb 21 to feb 28)
b) they did pause sending NOI's since march 1st
c) they have already worked on the applications received?

where oinp people did not register? You mean to say there are not register on this forum

Registered as in after receiving Noi they have 6
Months to register (open one key) and then once u register you have 14 days to apply for oinp.
What this shows is that many people who got noi in 1st batch wanted to wait for some Months in hope for direct ITA.

But i believe that if oinp will meet their intake for 2017 for HCP; they will not accept application although someone has NOI or has validity period of 6 month.

agreed but this is my point that they opened again within one month and a half so does that inplt that the quota has not been met or they have processed all apps that they received. Just thinking out loud

No they hvnt processed all application in hcp stream. My application is in decision in progress stage. I didnt hear anyone from hcp stream to get nomination letter. But yes they are processing really fast.
