Should be in your account at least till you receive your PR or land there.

Hi All,

I have a CRS Score of 413 and currently am waiting for a NOI from OINP. However, I have started to get all the required documents like experience letters and now planning to make arrangements for the Living funds which needs to be shown. My question is ideally for how long should these funds be in my account as I am getting this as loan from my friends. Once my nomination is approved and I get 600 points can I return this or should it be still in my account during express entry process after nomination. It will be really helpful for me to plan if someone can give the approx duration of months
these funds should be in my account.

Please guide me.

I everyone

Please help me in this matter

I am study permit holder here and I am going to apply for PR ( PNP OINP express entry). I am principle applicant.

My husband is here on visitor visa.

plse anyone can give expert advise on that

Can we apply for spouse work permit for my husband (as I am international student) while our canada PR application is in process.

If we can apply for open work permit for spouse while PR is in process and If we get approval then do we need to notify cic about that change

Do we need to mention while applying for open work permit that we are also applying for PR.

Do we need to mention in PR application that we applied for open work permit for my husband

I referred so many sites and forum but could not get proper answer

please help me

1. You can apply OPEN WORK PERMIT for your husband based on your study permit.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2015-12-11.asp
2. Yes, you need to notify any change about the status in Canada
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=052&top=3
3. No, you don't have to mention, only tell them when you successfully get the work permit for your husband. One more thing you can do is in the explanation letter, you can mention about the permit things.

I submitted on the same date but it's still 'submitted' :(
Soon approaching 1-month mark after submission (March 15). My status is still 'Submitted'. It's getting a bit annoying.

R u FSW? That's weird. So my best guess is they don't do first come first serve, but something else. My stat changed like under 1 day, still waiting badly for next stage....

ps: just check from tracker, looks like it takes 1 months to move to "decision in progress" :'(

Yup, FSW. Nothing unusual about my profile. Anyway, it will come when it comes. Thanks for the comments!

My reference letter was issued when I left my place of work in 2015. Would it still be valid for my application?

Also the POF I am using is in form of a treasury bill investment that I bought through the bank about 2years ago.I intend to submit the certificate for my POF but I am aware 6months statements from the bank is also required, however my statement would reflect zero income as I have not been in employment for about 2yrs now.My question is that how do I prove I purchased this treasury bill investment thru my salary savings while I was still in employment which was 2yrs ago.or would a LOE suffice to explain all of this?.

Also can someone pls suggest the documents I need to have ready upon getting a NOI.

Pls what handle can I dm my phone no to for the WhatsApp group.

Thank you.

Hi Guys,

Just incase if you don't know, please take a look at the update on OINP facebook and official webpage. They are issuing new ITA from today to 14th april.

Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream: Issuance of Notifications of Interest

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will resume issuing Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to applicants who qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream the week of April 10-14, 2017.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to create a new profile in the Express Entry (EE) system to make it easier for Ontario to identify their profile during its search of the federal government’s Express Entry pool. Please note that if you create a new EE profile, you must delete your old profile.

Prospective applicants who meet the HCP Stream criteria, have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 400, and are identified in the Express Entry pool will be sent a NOI.

The OINP is an economic immigration program designed to help Ontario meet its labour market and economic development priorities. For this round of NOIs, the program will also be targeting candidates in high-demand skilled trades in the construction sector who meet the criteria of the HCP stream. These occupations include:

Carpenters
Electricians (except industrial and power system)
Construction millwrights and industrial mechanics
Welders
Painters and decorators (except interior decorators)
Plumbers
Bricklayers
Roofers and shinglers
Sheet metal workers
Tilesetters
Boilermakers
Plasterers, drywall installers and finishers and lathers
Industrial electricians

To ensure processing efficiency and quality customer service, the OINP is monitoring the volume of applications to the HCP Stream and issuing NOIs periodically throughout the year until Ontario's 2017 federal nomination allocation is fulfilled.

Deadlines for the HCP Stream

Your Notification of Interest (NOI) is valid for six months. This means that you must register a profile for the HCP Stream in the OINP e-Filing Portal within six months of receiving your NOI from Ontario.

Once you register a profile for the HCP Stream in the OINP e Filing Portal, you must submit your complete application to the OINP within 14 calendar days.

The 14 day deadline to apply following registration for the HCP Stream must not be confused with the validity period of your NOI from Ontario.

Questions

If you have questions about the requirements of the HCP Stream, you can visit our Questions and Answers page or contact the OINP by email at ontarionominee@ontario.ca. Be sure to include your Express Entry number.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties with your online application or the OINP e Filing Portal, please send us an email at OINP.technical-POCI.technique@ontario.ca, and include as much detail as possible about the issue.

Yes it is. I am just wondering following:

They have stated also several occupations, from which most of them are FST. Ok so far fair enough.
I can still understand that a trade specialist may manage to get 400 points if he or she is already working several years in Canada and has a very good English level.

But where exactly do you have to finish 3 years studies in University (one for the conditions of HCP), in order to become plumber, bricklayer or painter?

And if you already have those 400 points and you have an employer that wants to hire you, why not use 50 points from LMIA to go directly?
