we can discuss our cases and processing timeline for January 2016 here.....

All applicants under " ONTARIO PNP International Students – Masters Graduates \ Master Stream\ Without job offer \ Human Capital " are welcome!

My timeline:

I applied OINP, Master Stream: 08 Jan 2016 (day when the package was delivered)
Received acknowledgment (AOR) N/A
Received Nomination Certificate N/A

Hi,

I have graduated with my MBA in June 2015 and am working since June in Toronto with PGWP. Is PNP the best way to apply for my PR or should I also consider Canadian Experience Class or other streams for PR?

Also, for Ontario PNP International Masters Graduate Stream I understand IELTS is mandatory, but instead can I take CELPIP. Is CELPIP accepted too? Because CIC website says for PNPs CELPIP is accepted, but in Ontario PNP webpage I don't see CELPIP as an accepted English language test.

I think PNP is the best way.....In my case I went to CEC in Dec 2014....and In eight months did not get AOR and no update cases are damn slow but I had also applied for OINP after few month as my backup and my case was pretty fast got the nomination in three months then applied for PR and got the AOR of that from CIC in 3 months now waiting for my MR.......Its more work for me to withdraw the CEC application because you can not apply together for PR....so I would strongly suggest you PNP with IELTS but for CELPIP just write an email to "opportunities ontario" and call them 416 327 0374 they will definitely guide you....Good Luck!

Does anybody know that will the CIC contact you by phone? I want to change my phone number recently, but I am afraid of missing phone calls from CIC when my OPNP application is under processing. Did anybody have this experience? Thanks!

One month of waiting...no AOR...should I panic already or wait more???

It all depends upon the visa officer who has picked up your package.
Yes, going by the timelines learnt from the forum, it looks like approx 2 - 3 months takes to receive AOR.

after waiting for a month, I contacted the OINP . and they told me send an email on ontarionominee@ontario.ca regards your application status. yesterday the reply me after one week.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your correspondence.

Your application package has been received in our office and is in queue for review by an officer.

If the application is complete, you will receive an acknowledgement letter from OINP by email to indicate that your application has been accepted by this office.

If the application is not complete, the entire application package will be returned to you by Purolator including the payment.

Hi everyone,

All the best to those who have already submitted OINP application.

I am preparing my application, and have an urgent question. I am married and my wife is in India.
Do I need to submit the "Accompanying Spouse or Common-law partner’s and Accompanying Dependents’ (aged 16 or over) Statements and
Authorizations" part of the OINP Form signed by my wife in the original hard-copy from India?
Or can I ask her to sign and send me scanned copy, and I can print it and submit that in my application?

Please reply urgent. Any reply from people who have dealt such situation will be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine who applied on 5 October just got hers, so people who applied in January are probably looking at May/June.

Edit: Oh and she has never received an email of acknowledgement.

I was told to wait 6 weeks before sending a request to ontarionominee email.
Got an auto-reply yesterday:

Thank you for your email. We appreciate you taking the time to email us with your questions and concerns. Your inquiry is very important and it will be reviewed and answered within 15 days.
