Thanks alot for your reply @ Feb2004 and @ karenv.

It is really a big crisis now. I prepared the letter of support for my parents to sign from my home country. They will notarize , sign and send it soon. The attached bank statements of 6 months will only show mostly money inflow or no transactions and only few withdrawal. In the supporting letter they will mention about how they got cash from different rental incomes (if necessary)

Secondly, during my studies, I have my money transferred to my university student account from country which has a clear receipt. And in many occasions, the excess amount of money have been refunded to my personal TD Bank account(I can provide that paper too). Approx. amount of CAD 7000.

Also, do I explain them that one person is allowed to carry upto 10000 dollar while travel and we were two travelling. ( do i need to mention that?)

I do not have a job right now but actively seeking for it. My wife got a job in a call center as a consultant. She is included in my application. Do I include that as a expected source of income too?

I just want to be very careful. I really do not want to wait years just to get the PNP. All your helpful suggestions is greatly appreciated.

You can show a letter of employment mentioning salary for your wife.
Even if you are able to carry 10k in cash when you come in to the country, you had to exchange currency to get CAD dollars. There should be a receipt somewhere. If both you brought 10k each when you flew in, surely that money was in a account somewhere before you converted it. 20k CAD from rental income that was never deposited to a bank account? If it is, then rent payments can have receipts too. you can show that.

Specifically they want to see the source of a particular deposit. Gather all the evidence/documents for source proving legal sources of the money and write an additional letter saying you brought it in cash when you flew in to avoid transaction fees.

1. they said it would be 3 month, but it really depends. i had a friend spend almost a year on that
2. your employer
3. you dont really have to, but you have to accept and follow that offer which means you need to start and keep working under that employer till you got your PR

Hi,

Can someone help me with the following questions regarding TRV application? I am on PGWP work permit and need to apply for a new TRV as the old one has expired.

1. I am not working but volunteering at the moment, so what should I fill for: Type the following information about the person(s) or institution(s), including schools you intend to visit during your stay in Canada, with name, relationship and address

2. Do I also fill volunteering for : Current occupation/activity

If you are under the PGWP you can put N/A, a student didn't get a job immediately after graduation is totally reasonable.

Thanks for your reply. In PNP and CIC applications I filled up volunteering as my current activity.

But isn't it mandatory that I fill up something for the persons/ institutions I intend to visit?

Did anyone hear any word on the Review of the PNP Masters Graduate stream? When would it be over?

Hello, everyone
I plan to apply the ON PNP (master's category) at the end of Oct. I got the IELTS score as "7.5,8.0,5.5,7.0". Although the overall score is 7, I don't know why the score of writing was that low. I am worrying about it. Is my score OK for applying? Do I need to redo the IELTS?

Thanks!!

Applied for the nomination on SEP 30, still waiting....

Hi, I had the same scores and i got my PNP certificate. They only care about the overall score.

Received my file no. on 29-10-2014.

Alhamdulillah! I received my PNP nomination certificate on 26th October 2014.
Now I am preparing for the Federal PR application.
I was wondering, will it be a wise idea to wait for the express entry or should I apply ASAP to Federal?

Kindly share your views.

Thanks!

I am preparing my application for Ontario PNP and plan to apply within a week or so but have a problem with the question around ties made in Ontario. What are they looking for exactly? Should I mention specific names and relationship? I am not sure what to write there.

PS. I didn't make a boyfriend, didn't buy a car or property. I was a student for god's sakes!

Can anyone of the successful applicants tell me what to write exactly?

Thanks :)
