@ananas
Have you called the office to ask about your application status?
Are you also one step away from receiving your certificate?

So, you applied before they announce the "over-quota" status last year. I wonder why your case has taken so much time.
11 months ---- OMG it is way more than the "unrealistic 90 days processing time". I just ask myself, does PNP service worth $1500 ?

You know what, Stay positive, don't waste your time in worrying. hopefully it will happen, finally. ;)
if you are not yet employed (I hope you are), try finding a good job, which is very important. the "PR" status will only be good for health insurance and getting rid of immigration papers (visas and permits) hurdles.

All the best

Thank you :) I honestly don't know why it has taken so long. There were no flags with the application, only one requested additional doc which I promptly submitted, and approval granted at the end of Summer 2013. I have seen a couple of other April cases in this forum, but most of them seem to have received their certificates about two weeks ago. If it wasn't for the $1500 I already spent I would have applied to Canadian Experience Class a long time ago.

I have called them constantly since Summer 2013... Same response. I was approved end of Summer 2013.

wow that's really absurd. I have heard a similar story and he finally found a congress member (or somebody who cares for the vote) to speak for him and the certificate came just a week after. Maybe you could try it.

I really think we deserve a very good service for this 1500 dollars but obviously they don't care too much about us.

I did a quick calculation based on 2013 PNP applicant for CIO office information.
(data from : docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Agq20hEtYdutdGhiLU02eVkxemd0VDFMcmxMc1N0a2c#gid=0

the average processing time last year was 154 days ::). just to figure out how long it will probably take. ;)

Do you guys think it is a good idea to create an online spreadsheet for PNP applicants with detailed information. So that each of us can see where we are compared to our friends ?

I would think it's helpful to get an idea of the general picture of the processing time. Anyone knows how to create it?

I received my certificate today, such a good birthday gift for myself:)

FYI, I submitted my package late August 2013, was requested some additional info early Sept., and the certificate was issued on March 4. I wasn't home last week so the package was just received today.

Now need to go through the CIC.

Good luck to everyone else! Will keep updated the CIC progress too.
Hi buddy,
I have a quick question, In the next step do we (phds) need to submit IELTS along with our certificate to CIC?

That depends on your NOC. Only skill level C&D needs to submit IELTS. That's just my understanding though. Mine is skill level A so I'm not going to submit it. My IELTS was already expired. If you have a valid one, it doesn't hurt to submit it.

Good news guys this years qouta is 2500!! Its on OPNP website

Good news! I just got a call from the concierge at my apartment building to let me know I have received a package from Opportunities Ontario! Seems like I will have the certificate in my hands once I come back home from work :D Almost 11 months later, but FINALLY!

Congratulations Ananas!!!

Has it taken anybody else that long?
