Hi Raj, what did it say in your old profile, and how has it changed? When did you withdraw your application and make a new one?

My application says the following right now:
Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Provincial Nominee Program Not Met

I have over 400 points.

Do you think it will changed if I delete the profile and start over?

Thank you.
You have to withdraw your existing profile and create a new profile! That means de-activating your current job bank as well. You need to create a new jobbank account and key in the new EE profile number AND your new job seeker code.

I understand what needs to be done, I am asking the people who tried this, how did your profile change? What does it say in your profile now after you deactivated it?

Well I am a little worried about the age points, I am over 30 and every year I lose 5 points in this system. I figure that I still have those 5 points until this profile expires in August.
However if there is a chance to get invited by Ontario if I delete it, then I will do it. I just want to be sure. I want to see if other people have tried it, and if they received a PT.
You have nothing to worry about. Many others have done this successfully.

Go to MyCIC home page (before the screen where it shows you your score)
Click 'withdraw application'
After you do that, you can create another profile. The status of the first one will show 'profile withdrawn'

Thanks One_Topsy, but I think you understood my question wrong too.

As I explained to rajkamalmohanram before, I am asking what happens after you create a new profile. I know how to get rid of my current profile.

After you create the new one, and look at it, what does it say in regards to these 2 bolded points:
Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Provincial Nominee Program Not Met

Does the above change? Do you get a PT after you create the new profile?

Thank you.

No, it doesn't change.

Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Provincial Nominee Program Not Met

Remains the same.
You will create a new profile, but nothing can guarantee you that you will get a nomination.

Thanks for your reply abc_27 that's what I wanted to see. I want to see if it changed for anyone who did this.

Instead of withdrawing my profile from EE i updated the existing profile and selected "All provinces and State" and submitted it so will it be helpful for OINP program or i have to withdraw it and create a new one ?

I was thinking of doing the same. However there is 2 questions that I would like to ask.
Did Ontario reach their quota of invitations?
Will they send a "PT Notification of Interest " even if they reached that quota?

I am confused here. Do we need to create a new JOBBANK for the new EE profile? Because what I did was just withdraw the EE profile and used the same JOBBANK. Anyone here did the same where you only create a new EE profile and used the same JOBBANK account then afterwards get an invite from Ontario?

You can:

1. Withdraw profile.

2. De-activate job bank assigned to the EE profile withdrawn - this is requested in the confirmation letter you get after withdraw your profile. The option to deactivate is available within job bank.

3. Lodge a new profile.

4. Once lodged, a confirmation letter is issued again asking you to complete job bank registration - next steps. Your status will read PENDING ADDITIONAL CRITERIA

5. Register with job bank following the instructions and new code in the confirmation letter. THE CODE is important as it verifies your registration and connects your EE profile updating your STATUS. I do not know what other members have done here, but instead of creating a new JOB BANK profile (as that is a painful process in itself) you should be able to:

Login to Job Bank
Go to MY USER ACCOUNT
Go to UPDATE EXPRESS ENTRY INFORMATION
Enter details
Accept terms, click on CONTINUE

6. After registration with job bank, your job bank account should show "active/live"
7. Wait 24-48 hours for status to update to OPEN in EE profile.

Why do people keep listing the steps to create a new profile???
Thank you for your time, but we all know how to deactivate and create a new profile. What can be helpful is if someone who actually did all this, received a Notification of Interest from the OINP. Please let us know if you do. That is what people here are interested to know. Did anything different happen AFTER you created a new profile.

Well, I myself have mentioned this a lot of times in the forum. You would have known this if you had took some time to check other related topics.

Nothing different will happen after you create a new profile except you'll get a message in your myCIC account that says "Ontario would like to consider you for nomination under its provincial nominee program...". This is called a PT or interest letter. After you get this, you can send your application to Ontario.

I got it after recreating. I suggested this to other people and at least 5 people to who I recommended got PT.

Did I answer your question?

I was clarifying for warqiezho re job bank process and included this info so he can review all the steps (along with others who come across the post).

After you create the new profile it remains the same. You might then get an email saying Ontario would like to consider you for Provincial Nomination
