Hi Asivad, I read somewhere that the documents package should not be stapled together. My question is that can I staple the documents which are supposed to be together, for instance, all pages of passport or my mark-sheets, or income proofs etc.
IMHO, the best way to submit a paper-based application with supporting documents is to,
1. Divide it by sections (in the exact same format as OOPNP does).
2. Use paper binders to keep all documents of a section together (staples are unreliable and distort some edges).
3. Have a covering page for EACH section that briefly identifies that section and highlights the attachments within (using bullets).
4. Use colored sticky paper on top left corner of each covering page to highlight which bundle it is and how many nos of pages are attached in that section.
This way, you are making it easier for the VO to check your application against each criteria easily and you come across as a methodical individual which doesn't hurt at all.
Second question: The document checklist states to provide evidence of good academic standing and length of program completed(spouse). So is this applicable if the spouse has completed his/her education in Canada (as stated in application guide) or do we need to send even if the education is outside Canada. I am confused as the checklist does not specify Canada.
OOPNP allows points only if spouse has education and/or work experience gained in Canada. If that isn't true in your case, this doesn't apply to you. Could be a generic list item.
Please advise and thanks for your continuous help!!
