Hello All,

I just received update from LVO to submit updated forms and PCC although I was expecting PPR-1 after Medicals in March 2013. Would appreciate if someone can provide suggestions about the following:

- I underwent Medicals on March 18th, 2013. If by some miracle I do get visa stamped within next 2-4 weeks (after submitting updated docs, PPR1 and PPR2), what will be the exact validity of visa? I'm asking so I can be mentally prepared whether to travel in a rush or for remedical.
- At PPR1 stage, they only ask passport photocopies and updated info chart. Does is make sense if I send both these now along with updated forms and PCC (even if they didnt ask for it). I'm asking about this to save time as people mostly receive PPR1 within 1-2 weeks of this.
- Will LVO accept if I email scanned passport copied and info chart when they send PPR. Again, am looking at quick response options due to crunch time in my case.

Dear Fahad,

Well 18th March is just 1 month ahead, and I don’t think so they will able to complete all their processing (especially if they have requested for PCC), until any magic happens.

As far as your medical validation concern, Visa Officer has option to request for your medical certificate extensions, but it has lots of ifs and buts. Refer below link for better understanding.

Chintan if possible can you paste the content of email which they send for passport request.. do we need to send photographs as well.... I will plan to send my spouse with my passport also want to check if this is risky or where do I confirm this as don't want to get in a limbo state in India waiting for passport for long and loose my job here as well.

"In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:

Ø Pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee for yourself and any accompanying family members to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi and provide a copy only of the payment receipt to the High Commission of Canada in Colombo. (Payment of all fees related to an economic class application that is already in process outside Canada must be made to the responsible visa office. Fees for applications that are already in process outside Canada are not payable in Canada.)

Please visit the following link to get information on paying immigration fees to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi. Please follow the instructions carefully and consult the web site immediately before buying a bank draft as rates of exchange may vary.

I attended in interview on Nov 18,2013 and was requested to submit RCMP(police clearance certificate from Canada on Jan 28,2014), all other documents were ready I think, now is still waiting.
