Hello

I am Ontario PNP nominee. I received my first AOR from CIC On Dec 31, 2012. My visa office is Abu Dhabi.

Today I received email from Abu Dhabi Canada embassy to provide UAE police clearance certificate. I have not yet got second AOR, asked to go for medical or anything. Is this normal? At what stage of processing is my file? I must also add that I had given UAE police certificate(validity of 3 months) to CIC in October 2012 when I submitted my first papers to CIC in Nova scotia.

Can somebody explain the process to me as to how it flows - is it from second aor to medical to final visa to land?
How may months it takes to go from second AOR to final visa?

Also I had a question on Canada tourist visa. If I want to urgently visit my sister in Canada for a short visit can I apply for Canada tourist visa when my pr application is in progress. Also if tourist visa is issued will it be cancelled when PR visa is finally issued?

Not sure about the tourist visa thing.

As far as PCC is concerned ya even I had provided Indian PCC while submitting my docs to CIC Nova Scotia during my application.

Since then I have got 1st Aor and then second AOR from Colombo. Generally you will be getting second AOR after about 2-3 months from first AOR.

The next process will be getting a Medical and RPRF request. This sometimes comes as quick as a few days after second AOR or like in my case now 2 months gone by and still waiting for the MR & RPRF request.

Hello:

This question is for folks who have received their RPRF fee request along with a Medical request. I'm a Ontario PNP nominee. My visa office is New Delhi. On April 12, my file was transferred to Colombo for faster processing. On June 4, I received my RPRF fee request along with Medical request from CHC Colombo. In addition, I was asked to provide the following documents:

1. Copy of your International English Language Test System (IELTS) results.
2. Evidence of your post secondary degrees and diplomas.
3. Evidence of your employments, past and present.
4. Proof of funds for establishment.
5. Updated personal and address histories of Schedule A form, if you are now residing in Canada.

All the above documents were provided to CIC Central Intake Office, Nova Scotia along with my nomination certificate from Ontario. On Jan 17, 2013 my file was transferred from CIC Nova Scotia to CHC New Delhi and I received my first AOR letter. The communication from CHC Colombo on April 12, 2013 was presumably the second AOR letter.

The question is whether it is normal for CHC to ask for documents that have already been submitted. Did any one of you receive a similar request and did you resend the information that you've already submitted.

Any replies will be highly appreciated.

Although I had submitted these documents initially with my Application to CIO Nova Scotia and to Opportunities Ontario for getting Nomination Certificate but as CIC Colombo office is asking again, So I have provided them the same document copies again . As I stayed in Canada earlier so they have asked me to provide Finger Prints Impression as well. Srilanka office has asked me to deposit RPRF fees in New Delhi and then provide them its reciept. So Paying this RPRF was a challenge, VFS did not accept this fees from me so I had to make a draft and courier this to New Delhi office. Now I am waiting for its payment receipt. You are lucky that they have asked for Copy of ur IELTS, in my case they wanted Original IELTS exam result. Good Luck, let's hope we all hear good news soon.

Hadeel thanks for encouraging, Dear, i have made the payment on 18 of this month through online and sent receipt of payment of processing fees to London visa office. As man on the moon also suggested that instead showing proofs and evidences of payment and keep in the loop of confusion, i should pay the fees as per their advice.

Now my old bank draft is going to be expired on 26 of this month. and i have reconfirmed abt the Bank DD, the result was same that they did not withdraw the amount. After expiry date, i can submit an application to my local bank with formalities to take the cash back.

Should i also sent the same receipt to CIO as well? i have sent copy of receipt, payment form, copies of email conversation with London, and copy of payment acknowledgment email from CIC to London Visa office.

Hi Malisa,

I applied for WP in New York and its already around 2 months, I send them an email and they responded saying it will take some more time if you need your passports then you can withdraw the application.. I just need to know did you send the original passport with your WP application.
I am worried since my H1 is expiring in next couple of months.

when can I expect for my status change ... any Idea about New delhi processing time ...
