Folks, today I received my medical request by email. The email body is carrying the CIO-Sydney office address. I am still not sure where is my visa office. How do I find out where my file is? I am waiting to find that so that I can send my PCCs to that address
Hi kia99, when did you received your AOR?

Hi Friends,

Happy new year to all of you.

Finally yesterday my application was received at CIO Sydney signed by DONNIE. I have sent my application without PCC, I am living in Saudi Arabia and here I can not get the PCC without proper letter from Canadian authorities, so let us see what they say.

Any idea on this.

I Wish all of you a smooth and quick process.
Regards
Ahmed321.

How did u receive ur AOR? by email or by courier. My application was delivered on 5th Dec but I'm still waiting for the AOR. Does it mention any expected processing duration? Any mention about Medicals?

Mine took around 2 months and based on average times, you should get it in the 1st week of Feb. I hope your other queries were answered sufficiently by kia99.

I received AOR from CIO yesterday. Please update tracking sheet (Payment realized on 7 Dec 2012). Thanks and wish everyone else good luck.

Also, can anyone clarify about the next stage and expected time? Is it AOR from VO or MR? I still need to submit my UK PCC so want to know when I should do that (Someone told me that I should only send it out upon receiving document request from VO, what stage will that happen?). Thanks.

Would appreciate if anyone can weigh in on my earlier query mentioned in 2nd part of my post above. Thanks in advance :)

Hi,

Now that you have your AOR, you will get your MR soon, it will be by email too. Then once the MR have been sent to them, they will do a background check. If they are satisfied with everything, they will ask you for your passport. About the PCC's, wait till you get your MR request and then call the VO and ask them. But again assuming that you are not in Canada, I'd suggest you wait for them to ask you for the PCC's. Or here is another suggestion, since you've put your VO as London, why dont your call CIC London office and give them your File Number and they should be able to help you out.

Thanks,
Kia99

Hi,

I received it in a week of the getting the AOR. Many others who are already in canada have also got it within a week or getting the AOR. So thats why the assumption that its not too far behind for others too. Also check this link out, its the standard process for PR
