Normally it's the VO that is responsible for your country but to be sure we should wait till our VO contact us.

unfortunately mine was returned because I didn't include WP form for my spouse, my VO needs 3 form for each person :WP or Temporary visa form for each, Schedule 1 form for each and Family information for each, so I should send my package again.

Dear Maryam i am about to complete my application for WP,but i am confused about my spouse,should i apply her visa for WP or TRV.Please help me to complete my application.

Hi Niagra:

You have to submit TRV, Open work permit application and family information for for your spouse separately. Most of the people are confused at this form to submit the wp application for spouse. You have to submit the Open work permit and family info for her as well. And $150 fee includes the both TRV FEE AND Open work permit fee.

Yes, this OWP is the most confusing application so far.

My VO says "Ask OOPNP about which forms to be filled" and OOPNP (rightly) says "Ask your VO".

I applied for OWP yesterday at a VFS center in India.

Had included WP+TRV application for me and my spouse plus study permit application for my 8 yr old kid.

Hope they dont come back with any additional/different forms to be filled - will induce unnecessary delay!

Thanks malisa for your help.But,one of my friend told me that we do not need to pay pay processing fees for my spouse.And have you submitted your application for WP.

Hi Niagra,

You have to pay $150 for each person, if two of you are applying it would be $300 (15+150). I have applied in first week of December and waiting for my Visa.
The fee is clearly mentioned on cic web site.

Yes, but may be because of holidays in december it could be late. Actually the processing time from CIC website is 2 months and as per consulate minimum time is 30 days. But i have not heard anything yet.

Hi ,
As I expected My WP application was returned to me due to further inquiries

They asked my to add the barcode application for my spouse and kids , does that mean the WP application IMM 1295 ? and if so , what data should I fill for my 2,4 years old kidds ,so confusing

they also asked me to provide 'Cirtificate of good conduct issued from local Authority' , does that mean the Police certificate ?

Please if you have any idea about my questions please share

Can please someone answer that whether Police Clearance Certificate is required for Open Work Permit package?

I was in US for more than 6 months, thus, whether both PCCs are required from my home country and from US?

Maryam, Did you also submit PCC alongwith your package?
