Hi Guys ,
I received this reply from ontarion Facebook official page https://www.facebook.com/shaymaa.sultan.9/photos_stream#!/studyworkstay?fref=ts

{
Opportunities Ontario will be contacting all FSW nominees shortly regarding Work Permit Support letters following CIC's recent operational bulletin 470 on open work permits for FSW nominees.
}

Interesting. This is a new development. I checked the same on their Face book page couple of weeks back and at that time Wendy told me that the nomination letter template was the same for all PNP candidates and we (FSW Pilot) guys need to ignore the Work permit paragraph.
Now this new initiative is really good to know.

Here is the link to that bulletin - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob470.asp

So I assume we should be getting some letters in our mail? Or can we just use the PNP Certificate to apply for this Open province specfic WP?

There was one line that confused me in the above link

"The Pilot continued to go forward despite the subsequent elimination of the FSW backlog through the enactment of the Jobs, Growth and Long-term Prosperity Act (Budget 2012 implementation)."

What does that mean?

They cancelled and returned the application fees for FSW applicants that were not sponsored by provinces for the FSW Pilot. This affect a lot of pending applications in the queue.

Hi
i am having a little trouble filling out the background declaration.

In the instructions it say not to use any any abbreviations - but I have to use them because there isnt much typing space in it.
I have included another page where I have mentioned each abbreviation and explained what it means.

Is that the correct way?

Another option might be that I print out the blank form and then write by hand - this might be messy.
Please suggest what to do?

Thanks! :)

Hello All,

I sent my completed application last week and it was received by CIO yesterday. I added my name in the spreadsheet initiated by Maryam earlier.

- As per recent comments, I assume AOR is the next stage and 60 days is the expected time for it, please confirm?
- Also, I read on other PNP forums that next step after submission is that CIO/Visa office (not sure) asks to submit writeup on plans to settle in Canada and some other documents within 60-day timeframe. Is this part of the AOR or the next stage?

Would appreciate if someone could briefly summarize the next steps with timeline. Sorry am not too well versed with the whole workflow.

Thanks,
Fahad

Any one from Pakistan could tell how you pay the fee through bank draft. Is it just going Stand Charter and submit $550 or paying the fee as per CHC Isb. Fee given at CHC Isb. is far low than $550.

Imran

I got mine made from Wall Street and most money changers (Western Union, Dollar East) will be able to get one for you. I tried regular banks but they don't issue bank draft in CAD unless you maintain a foreign currency account with them.

Hope this helps.

Hi
AOR is the next stage. I heard Sydney have an SLA of 3 months. So it can be 60 or 90 days
I have no idea abt the Write up that you have mentioned. Where did you get this info ?. Also you mentioned that CIO has received
your documents. Is that by looking at the Courier tracking or did CIO acknowledge the receipt of your documents ? Mine is on the way to
Sydney hence asking

I think it is better to avoid using abbreviations as far as possible, but If you really have to use them, it's wise to write the reason on a separate paper.
