Hi guys,

I also got my PNP nomination a few days back. I'm from India and currently in USA on L1 work visa. I recieved my nomiation at my home address in India.

I was in India when I filed my PNP application. Now thing is I do not know for sure that when I will go back. It may be this Dec or next Dec.

So, I don't know how to proceed with my PR applicaiton. Should I file it here in US now or should I wait till I go back to India and then file from there. But then again I don't know when I'll go back.

As we have to give police clearances etc also I do not know how should I proceed. Has anyone else also faced similar issue? or what you guys suggest I should do?

Thanks

According to the Guide, you can stil send your application even without police clearance. But they will definitely contact you again so you have to be ready. At least this will buy you some time. Just download the form, let your family forward to you the supporting documents then send it from US. Good luck!

@ canimmigrate : I am in same boat as u.. not sure what to do..but planning to do from India and process time is much faster there. regarding PCC you can apply from U.S as this is much faster and less hectic process compare to back home.

Hi

The document copies that we are submitting - should they be certified true (by oath commissioner)?
It does not say anything like that in the check list - but earlier everything had to be certified.

Thanks

Hi Wasim01,
I think only the traslator avidaffit should be certified by oath commissioner

Please guys can you confirm

Congratulations pareyles!
As to the question on the CD payment, I did not pay anything for the CD. It just came in with the Nomination package.

Hello Kabayan! Thanks!
I paid 548.00 for the CD :)
Have you submitted your documents?
Did you include middle name in the given name(s) fields?

Hi every body
As you may know,Alberta's nominated applicants have a spreadsheet in which they put their information about their time line. I've created the same for us. if you like you can send me your dates and info's and i'll update it.You can reach the spreadsheet by the following address:

Hi rp_tp,
Thanks for your reply. I was also thinking of applying from India as processing time is lesser from India and I'm not sure till when I will be in US. I think, we will need PCC from both India and US. Do you know the process of getting PCC from US?
Also, if you want we get in touch and help each other with information.

@ canimmigrate : Getting US pcc is quite simple process and for India u need to identify your Jurisdiction and send out the docs there.

Can anyone help me on checklist 18. What is the meaning if -- 2 self-addressed mailing labels? One in english and one in official language of your country of residence?

Hi,

I have mailed my application with courier to Sydney on Oct 10th. Should I already see that application was received? How long does it take?

thanks and good luck!

As I know, you should add 2 labels with your name and mailing address - they will be attached to the envelope when your application is emailed from NS to your local office.
