Thanks ..I also received a new email from VO asking for original passports..they asked me to send them to ottawa ..they recommended canada xpress as corriour ..but they asked me to purchase 2 envelops same size ..and send them along with the passports..can anyone tell me why ?and should i put one envelop inside the other ..what is the point please ?

DEAR HADEEL WHAT OTHER DOCUMENTS THEY ASKED FROM YOU....LIKE NEW FORMS,PC,BANK STATEMENTS ETC.....

Wak009 .. They asked me for photos as well ..I sent the passports along with the family photos snd a copy of the PPR2 email yesterday with an extra envelop ..
Niagra..i was not asked to submit any other documents other than what i listed above

well there is some progress at my end as well... after 6 weeks since submitting my medical results and sending additional docs, I got an email asking for Police Certificate from my home country - that they 'claim' is still outstanding.

I've already sent it to them - the most recent one being the one that I sent just before I came to Canada - but they keep on asking for the same thing. Don't know how can I drill it to their head that I can not provide police certificate from back home now since I've been here for almost 20 months

have sent them an email - let's see if they respond back.. I may also try to call them to see if I can get through them...

damn it .... so close but still not cigar...

Ontario told me my certificate had withdrawn by mistake. They sent me a new certificate and askedme to re-apply for pr!!
If their mistake why I should apply again? What is your advice? It means I shouls start over again.

Hi nioo! It's indeed a good news. I was feeling so sorry for you ever since you mentioned that they declined your application. Now, you should take the new nomination and send it to your VO along with Ontario' email that they have made the mistake. I am sure you don't have to apply from the start.

You need to send them the old police certificate along with some sort of proof (passport pages scan) that you never went back to the home country after you came here.

The reason I am saying this as my VO also asked me the same at the end of the process. I sent them the last police certificate that I obtained just before leaving the country and a proof that I never left Canada ever since I entered here. Within two days they accepted it and waived the police certificate requirement.

I sent mine on 8th June and they came back on 17th June.

Hi Wak... thanks for your suggsetion - however I have my doubts whether this will work or not... as unfortunately I do not have any proof that I sent the recent most police certificate (not even a photo copy ) ... I do have all the police certs that I sent earlier - but not this one (talk about ironies) ...

However I have replied to their email asking them the same that you suggested ... however, considering their 'promptness' in terms of replying - I doubt I'll hear from them before a month...

So in the meantime I am working on to get the police cert. from back home... let's see which one happens first....
