Congrats Imran, So you were never in the QA (10 or 6 questions) ?

I got those questions in July last year. What I believe QA does not impact any decision; its meant for data collection e.g. what is average salary PNP application are making; did they get job; did they they get job in thier own trades etc.

Thanks Imran. However some of us did not avail the OWP and continued on our jobs. Underwent the QA and even verification phone calls.
Most of our medicals will expire soon if not already for some.
Hence I always thought QA was another filter (or deeper scrutiny) rather than data collection exercise but you could be correct.
Hoping for an early closure for all here

I am the one who got letter from PNP after QA that they have concern on my nomination due to 2+2 degree and explain why we do not withdraw our certificate; even then i got my PR.

My medical was also expire in July 2014 and the second medical will expire again in Aug. 15. If medical expire that mean VISA office need more time and does not mean anything else.

Based on that I received Open Work Permit approval back in November 2013 valid till November 2015. The Work Visa I received is valid till June 2015. I need to travel to Canada to have my Work Permit issued.

In parallel my Permanent Residence case is in final stages (Medical Results Received on Status and Passport Details and Police Certificate Requested recently).

I am unable to decide whether I should visit Canada to receive my Open Work Permit or should wait for Permanent Residence to be completed. Currently, I do not have a job offer in hand as well.

What should I do in this situation? Is it possible to not to opt for Work Permit and wait for Permanent Residence to be completed? Does not opting for Work Permit will impact my PR case?

Read your owp letter. It will say applying for owp is voluntary and it will not effect PR application

In the application, I opted Abu Dhabi as visa office. But I see on the Abu Dhabi visa office website that for all Economic Classic, contact London. Is my visa office now Abu Dhabi or London?

Your visa office for processing is London. However, your visa will be stamped in Abu Dbabi. Are you getting all correspondence from London office?

In my opinion you should wait for PR to finalize. Not availing OWP has no negative impact on your PR application. Few guys on this forum have not availed OWP like you

I am outside Canada. My VO is in Tel-Aviv.
And I did not use my OWP.

In addition I had half year delay, because my wife was pregnant when we got medical examination invitation.
