I got this reply from the London office," Please be aware that at this time we are unable to provide a precise estimate of the additional time required to process your application as a result of this quality assurance exercise."
My medicals were done in August 2014. I am an Ontario PNP FSW Pilot applicant. My original application to CIC was sent in 2006.
I sent my documents to the Ottawa office in early September 2014. So far no reply from them.
But i've heard that the Ottawa office is taking about four months.
Note sure about 4 months. It is exactly complete 4 months today since the additional information they sought reached CPC-CTD-Ottawa. Hopeful though.

hi

Still Waiting ........
Even my medical had expired on 16 Oct. 2014...
Still no communication from there side..

:( :( :( :( :( :(

Same for me.

My medicals expired in September, and no feedback from their side.

The bad thing that we do not know how long we have to wait.

It is at the discretion of CIC. They might extend your medical validity for one more year or they may ask you to redo the medical tests.
Visa expiry date = medical expiry date in general or passport expiry date if less than medical expiry date

expired medical means that your visa will be valid for one more year. Or not?

Are you working in your NOC or doing survival job?
Do you still have a job back home?

There is a Bridging visa option available if you are in Canada and your PR application is in process: http://moving2canada.com/immigration-to-canada/bridging-visa-canada/

I thought the work permit is extendable for another 2 years ,is that true only if I am working in my NOC,please advise ?

But people on OWP are at an advantage. Because some of their stay will be counted towards eligibility for canada passport. The rules have only recently been changed. Stay before the new law will be partially counted. So the time spent is not entirely a loss.

hi
Half period will be counted while stay on OWP

Bridge visa is for one year. After one year we have to apply again. What I learn bridge visa is not specific to NOC but work in same nominee province restriction still apply.

Having job is not requirement of bridge visa. A person must be in Canada and PR is in process are two requirement.
