I tried sending status email to ADVO and CPC Ottawa. No response whatsoever. Very sad, coming to a month now am really afraid now. Not even wait we are still working, Nothing. ON PNP threw me back to ADVO and CIC. but no news whatsoever. What's going on....! My God.

Hang in there man, don't loose hope. You are not alone there we are all together in same boat. Just to give you some hope, let me tell you. I wrote to CPC Ottawa, and they replied back in about 5 to 7 days that my "file is still in process with them and I need to show some patience".

So don't worry...I can understand your situation...I initially applied in Oct-2006 and I am still in line .... If going to there is your destiny inshaaAllah you will go...

Okay Let us break the silence .... Let us share the expiray dates of our Medical Exams and follow up on what they are going to do with us regarding this ....

I have made my medical exam on 2 January 2014 .... Is there anyone who is outside Canada and their Medical exam was earlier than that ?

Is there anyone whom his medical exam has already expired ? Did he receive anything from CIC regarding this ?

How may out of the 600 people are still left in the forum ? Is there any of the old members who has already landed and issued PR still following ? How Many has already got their PR from the 600 .... I guess it can be a name for a movie like 300.

It is amazing to find some people on other forums who applied in Jan 2014 got their Decision Made Status and waiting to receive their passport ...

Is there anyone who applied for gcms notes. I got mine 2 days back. It shows Eligibility passed, medical passed, but criminality and security sections say Not Started . I`m really upset, what are they waiting for? I have heard it takes 3-4 months and may be 6 months also once they start these security checkup thing. Means I still have a long long wait, if they have not yet started that. Is there anyone else whose gcms notes are like this?.From gcms, I could makeout that no action was taken on my file for almost a year. Work on my file started from the day my Ecas showed in process, which is the day they sent me medical request in feb 2014. Its difficult to interpret gcms. is there anyone who can guide?

I got mine last week. They are pretty identical to the ones I received last month. Nothing has been updated since July...it's safe/sad to say that we are not a CIC priority at this point.

Mine is a bit confusing.They have mentioned correct certificate no and dates but Nowhere have they mentioned fsw backlog, so I`m worried.I think that might be the reason they have put us under QA.Its just my assumption.

So responding to @Mohareb's casting call for 600... here's my ordeal...

Took open work permit option ,had my medical done in aug/sep 2013 and arrived in canada in November 2013.
Then the sad story of QA/additional documents began. sent my docs to ottawa in August (via email and snail mail both)...

Since then no peep.

I wonder if any of the 600 [un]lucky ones got a 'decision made'...

I wonder what happend as we did not hear from them back.

I was wondering if you are currently in Canada or outside.

I have never been to canada. I`m an outside applicant, my VO being New Delhi, later transferred to Colombo by cic itself. And there are no updated comments anywhere written in gcms notes, only updated date is given. There is no clearity about my files location, however it clearly shows that my file was transferred to Ottawa office in june under QA. It shows due date as Dec end. I think I`ll get next update from VO only then. Till then I have no option but to wait.
