It seems that sending documents via email attachment is not reliable if you do not get auto-acknowledgement. I have not receive it yet. What about other guys who emailed their documents. Is there is file size limitation of 10 MB for CPC email server? My other email account reveived it without any problem

Gentlemen,

We deal with a Government agency .... there is no room for guessing .... if they want us to avail OWP as a condition, they need to be very clear to avoid any confusion. OWP was an option and there are so many applicants in this forum by passed this Option and they still got their PR.

Let us do not panick .... someone in CIC asked for additional information and we provided it. this is another unnecessary layer of time and stress but they are not changing the selection criteria or intentionally delaying our applications. 6 months down the line, we should all meet in Ontario to celebrate this tough and amazing journey.

Best of Luck

Hi Mohareb, Perhaps this is the sticking point ? Why have the applicants NOT used the OWP ? If the applicants are serious they would have come over and sought for jobs in Ontario ?

I have sent 16 different files with a total size of 8.8 MB, the largest file was a JPG format with 2 MB. Out of total 16 files, there was 6 PDF files of whic no file exceeded 1 MB.

This was not planned but it worked fine. You just need to use an advanced scanner that produce low size files.

In all cases, send also a courier with Hard copies.

This is reallt a disturbing news .... How come they refused granting you OWP, did you provide them the support letter and the operational bulletin sent with it.

Purpose of visit is to search for a job :)

I suggest you ignore the fact that you applied and was refused, they do not ask for this details.

I will recommend that you also send hard copies of documents via courier to avoid any delay in processing. Hard copies are delivered in 3-4 days and are more reliable. I have been asked to resend files as separate documents with size less than 5MB. My soft copies are rejected by CPC server although I sent them twice.

This is the response I received when I emailed CPC and inquired about sending soft copies of documents via email. My package containing hard copies has already been delivered to CPC.

------------------------------------------------------
Dear Applicant,

We don’t require a soft copy if you have already sent us a hard copy.

Regards,
