Hi there,

I got the ITA last month. I am applying under CEC, I am currently working in Nova Scotia. I notice that OINP is asking for "copies of letters of reference from all your employers far the past 10 yrs or since you were 18", I am an engineering graduate from Canada, it was a 5 year program. As a part of my study I did co-ops/internships in 4 different companies(1 in Ontario) and also did few part time jobs in university. It has been 2 years since I graduated, should I call back all my employers for reference letters?
Also, do I need to show the settlement funds? I do have $13,000 savings in my bank account but I only started saving in last 4 months, before January 2016 I had less than $8000. If I send statements for last 6 months, it wont be 13k until starting of February 2016.

As far as I know, you do not need to include any internship jobs and this is explicitly mention in the application as well.

Does anyone know what is the current status for the OPNP Human Capital category? On the master update sheet the last person who got nominated had his/her file submitted on Dec 8, 2015.

My file was received on Dec 30, 2015 and the current work permit is going to expire on Apr 9, 2016. Really worried if there is still a chance to get the extra 600 points by the end of March, 2016. :'(

Received PT notification - 20th Nov'15
Application submitted - 15th Dec'15
Application delivered - 18th Dec'15
to Ontario Office (as per courier company)

Few silly questions for final checking before submission of OINP application :
1. We need to sign at only one place right ? Only part K and not Part L for single applicant ?
2. For duplicate ECA do I need to submit it along with application or later ?

Sign both Part K and Part L and remaining fields should be filled "N/A" with pen after print out.

2. For duplicate ECA do I need to submit it along with application or later ?
It is upto you whether you can order that duplicate copy now and attach the e-mail confirmation, receipt from WES in your application package now
OR submit your application package and then order it in a few days.

No, not required, but don't forget to write 'N/A' wherever you seem it appropriate on that declaration form.

Right now you may be single. But if you think there is a possibility that you will get married in the next 5 years, then please sign this section L.

Nobody should fill any official Form based on speculation, leave alone for immigration.

Whoever does this he/she will be his/her own wife/husband. A very awkward situation to say the least.

it took them 9 days to send me PT. So hang on for a couple of days. If still no luck, delete the profile and make a new one again

I submitted my application on the 24th of Feb and until now, no Notification of Interest yet. Do you think this is normal now?
