Nothing concrete, it's just speculation but they did mention in their meetings with ICCRC that they want to follow the BC model more closely. If they do that, PNP will become a lot harder to be qualified for, and it will, supposedly, give significant more attention and chance to those candidates with strong ties to Ontario e.g. having siblings or parents here.fatehelps said:Does anyone hear anything about the new system that OOINP might follow from late this year??

Can you please give me a proper directions, where to find Human Capital Priorities under BC PNP ?ajithj said:Interesting news.
OINP has already changed their entrepreneur category to a points based system similar to BC model. I think they are going to implement the same for human capital priorities stream also.

Any idea when OINP Human Capital Priorities Stream might reopen again?
As per their update on website, they mentioned that OINP HCPS will be reopened in Nov/Dec 2016.bestmethod said:Hello Guys,

You need to maintain 400 or more CRS points for OINP, exception being reduction of points due to age.zaksam777 said:Hi austinjes!
I have a similar situation. Please clarify:
I have a score of 405. I understand that I will get a PT notification and my age will be locked for OINP. But to get and IRCC ITA I again have to stay above 400. Is that correct? Or do I have to score only 67 out of 100? Please clarify.
If requirement for IRCC ITA is again 400 score, then decrease due to age after getting ITA will not affect application, correct? And is this exemption policy still in effect?
And did you get your permanent residence? Thank you!
Hi Asidnav!Asivad Anac said:Ensure your application reaches Ontario before Oct 22nd. This might be your best chance to ever get an ITA - go for it.
Hi smtele!smtele said:According to section 7.2 in OO PNP application guideSince it's taking OOPNP 2-3 months or more to nominate, I would say that you will not get nominated by Oct 22, and would have to withdraw your application. Also, they may charge you a $1500 fee after giving you an AOR, and I am not sure if you would get that back when you withdraw.
So it seems really risky to apply to OOPNP now, and I would suggest giving the IELTS exam again to bring the CRS above 400.

Hi All
I got a PT notification yesterday for Human Capital Priorities Stream
My current score in EE is 404 but after my birthday on Oct 22nd, it will come down to 399.
I have got 45 days to apply under this steam but I feel i'm ineligible since my score is not above the 400 mark after October 2015.
Can any one advice me if I can still apply under this stream?
I'm asking this because in another 25 days my score will come done to 399. Please advise??
I've received the below response from Ontario Immigration that if the age changes in between the receipt of PT notification and Application for PR, there is an exemption.
I still have ten more days to apply, can I go for it.....Please advise

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) - Human Capital Priorities Stream.
>>> CR Score -
A candidate who reports an age difference between the time they receive an invitation to apply (ITA) and the time they submit an application for permanent residence (APR) could lose points that were awarded to them for their age, which is one criterion used to establish their rank relative to other Express Entry candidates, and to determine their eligibility to receive an invitation to apply. Applications can be refused for this reason despite the applicant's ability to meet regulatory requirements of the economic immigration program for which they have applied.
A temporary public policy will permit the 'EXEMPTION' of candidates from application of section 11.2 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) only if the loss of eligibility or qualification has occurred due to aging of the applicant between the submission of an invitation by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the receipt of the resulting application by CIC.
Accordingly, this 'exemption' will apply to those individuals whose ranking may change due to age from the time an invitation to apply to OINP was sent and receipt of the application for permanent residence.

I am currently in the EE pool and have 419 points, should I be getting an OINP PT notification?
Does having 400+ points automatically guarantee me to get a OINP PT? Or do they perhaps have another cut-off score that we are not aware of
I'm not sure if I'm missing anything here, based on the requirements, if I'm in the EE pool as FSW or CEC, select willing to immigrate to Ontario and maintain 400 above points then I should be qualified to receive an OINP PT notfication?
