Very happy to see your post..it is just posts like these that give us some mutual moral support.Yes my heart goes out to Joe as well, may god grant him lots of patience for looks like this process is dragging on too much.

If CIC pushes our file transfer to may and gets us the PPR in July or August which does not leave enough time for landing ..I would be fuming mad and am guessing a lot of other may applicants would be too.I do not know when the breaking point would be but one of these days might lose it and will draft a scathing letter to CIC higher up's and will make sure it reaches the proper authorities so that atleast future applicants are spared this nonsense.Still it might be better than US broken immigration but then they should have never marketed it as a fast track system.

Anywaz I sincerely hope for all of us they atleast send us a file transfer in April instead of May....

Senior folks - I am thinking of Comparision of our Batchelors and Master Degrees with Canadian standards. Is there any organization which helps to certifiy that our degrees are equivalent to Canadian degrees.

each state has their own evaluating agency..

for Alberta, it is IQAS, i got my degrees certified by IQAS and receicved a certificate from them, which you can put on your resume , helps when applying for jobs etc.

Hey guys,

Can you please also add the date on which your application was received by cic. It is infact a very crucial factor in processing of our application irrespective of when your file was transferred, Atleast this must be the case with the applications in NY office.

Also last week the address change option was removed from my e-cas. Do you think it is a good sign of getting ppr. Lol now it seems like if any thing new happens with e-cas, we assume it to be a good sign of ppr.

Happy Tuesday!

Any good news today guys?

My additional documents were delivered to Buffalo 9:30am today. Let the wait continue!

Thank you for the link, Jacaranda! It costs 100$ right. Can we get this done being here in USA or you suggest to get it done once we are there.

I didn't had goods that I was carrying list as I was there just for a day. Note that B4A is for goods to follow list and B4 is for Vehicle to import.

Hello All,

One of my friend's file has been moved to LA office and he got a very serious following concern.
His Kid is US born and a year old. He did not mention AINP & CIC about this and he has completed his medicals reached ottawa by Sept first week, so he is expecting PPR in couple of weeks as File has been moved to LA in Jan 2nd week.

Now the question is that he heard that "Failure to declare additional dependants such as a spouse or children prior to your becoming a permanent resident could result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa.". I am listing the following steps, Please add or suggest any quick route here :

1. Inform AINP through email.
2. Get modified nomination from AINP.
3. Submit/ fax the same to CIC.
4. CIC will send the medicals.
5. Complete medicals

I would say, start with AINP and tell them that he was not aware of the process. Once AINP updates the nomination, he can send the updated notice to CIC. No harm in notifying CIC and AINP at the same time.
