Hi SinghIsKing,
I'm in same situation as you're. It's has been 2 weeks since they receive my passport. Did they encash your check? Did you attach return prepaid envelop with tracking details?

Thanks,

They've had my passport since Jan5th.

We got our medicals done in India on August 3 2010 and in mid october our file was transferred to LA office. And on Jan 7 we got the PPR & RPRF Fee request from LA office. But I was only able to submit my passports on Jan 27 due to some personal delays.

Oh man this is not fast track.

Initially i was thinking that AINP certificate will take 4 month but it took 1 year.

Then for CIC process i was thinking that it will take 5 month total time once we send but it is already 9 month. For some folks it is near to 11 month.

It really long wait wait wait.

Thanks for the update. Can you please tell us if you're file was transferred?

Also, check with the respective embassy/consulate, and get a letter from them if they cannot give you a verification within the stipulated 60 days. I have known of instances where the verification has been waived. Good Luck.

On the other hand, I do not know what to make of this. Should we assume that they are atleast looking at our files?

Hi Chigirl, my file was never transferred, it's still in Buffalo

Yes, at least there are some movements :)
