This might not be true for all.

I am on east coast (FL), but my file was transferred to Seattle, which is not only on the other coast, but diagonally opposite.

So you never know the exact criteria for transfers.

This is to all those guys, whose file is still in Buffalo office.

If you are east coast resident, plz change your address to Midwest or west coast ( use your trusted friends address).. and file are transferred based on the residential address...

Because ultimately you file will be transferred to NY office (which is the worst) and sits there forever..
I should have done that , now my file is with freaking NY office and no movement. All other offices are responding with in 3-4 weeks with PPR. I am still waiting after 2 months..
And its your call now..

Regards,..

I don't believe this is true either. No one can tell by which basis they transfer your file. I live in VA and my file was transferred to Detroit. One of my friend who lives within walking distance from me and whose timeline is same as mine is still at Buffalo. I know another friend who lives in Vegas and his file was transferred to NY...I think it is just random.

Hi friends,

I cannot believe my eyes. I just received an email from my lawyer that my passports have been requested. My file was in Buffalo. Medicals sent on 08/26 and RPRF was asked for in December.

This forum has been really useful in the whole process. Wishing all of you also get the PPR's soon. Please feel free to ask anything I can answer.

Congrates!!!! on your PPR. Could you please post your time line.

U will get it shortly. Did u pay RRPF? Previously with Detroit consulate transfers we never used to see medicals recvd status b4 ppr. But i guess they are changing it now... possibly Detroit might be packed too... god only knows there approach.. lets see...

Not paid my RPRF yet.

Somewhere on this forum I read that there was no PPR even 2 months after Medical received status. So I am just hoping it will come soon.

Congrats Surprised! Your timelines are very close to our may group. Its really motivating today.

I am just curious, Do you belong to the Married or Single or Married + Kids. Does this a considerable point. Mine is Married + 2 kids, Its means processing 4 applications right. I am thinking single files are quickly getting processed. Am really not sure, just a thought! quote changed : " Waiting Brain is Devils Workshop " :)

I think it should be Day 1. COPR will help in getting medical treatment untill you get your SIN and other documents.
