This might not be true for all.
I am on east coast (FL), but my file was transferred to Seattle, which is not only on the other coast, but diagonally opposite.
So you never know the exact criteria for transfers.

If you are east coast resident, plz change your address to Midwest or west coast ( use your trusted friends address).. and file are transferred based on the residential address...
Because ultimately you file will be transferred to NY office (which is the worst) and sits there forever..
I should have done that , now my file is with freaking NY office and no movement. All other offices are responding with in 3-4 weeks with PPR. I am still waiting after 2 months..
And its your call now..
