Need advice: CIC call center says PR Card mailed on Dec 6th. We landed on Nov-4th. The PR Card has still not reached the address we gave in Calagry. Anyone else landed around the same time? Do you have your PR cards?

Hi all,
I am trying to create a time line for those are waiting for PPR (like me) who had newborn after applying to CIC. It will be nice if those who have received the passport requests (who had babies) shared their timeline in the following format.

My time line:

CIC applied:Mar 17,2010
CIC started processing according to ecas: Jun 24,2010
Medicals done(parents): Jul 16,2010
Medicals done (baby): Dec 12,2010
PPR request:????

Thanks

Hi Sindbad,
My time line is almost similar to yours...

CIC applied:Mar 12,2010
CIC started processing according to ecas: Jun 28,2010
Medicals done(parents & baby): Aug 25,2010
PPR request:????

I moved from US to India just after applying to CIC.
still waiting....

Yes, it happened to me. They requested Permanent resident fee by email then after a week, got the PPR by mail. And when they say that the case is in queue, it means they're processing it for approval.....

To legalcitizen,

I paid RPRF fees when I submitted the application to buffalo. I didn't wanted to waste time on that. I suggest you to wait until NY office asks you to submit RPRF fees. They usually ask RPRF and the PPR together with the snail mail not email.

You will not be helping your case by sending it early. Be in touch. I hope to hear from them by the end of this month. ;D

Dear

Thanks..

I think I made 2 mistakes

1. not sending RRPF fees with application
2.waited for PCC/FBI , instead of sending the application to CIC. I hope it wont hurt me .. :)

Sure .. will keep in touch..

CIC is very advanced in techonology terms. They run Siebel eGovernment Applications for Case Management System. Their platform is not dated or legacy type. I wonder why there is so much delay in the processing.

Yes, agree on the second point. I made the same mistake; should not have waited for PCCs and FBI. This caused a big delay.

People - The couple of ppr that I have seen from Buffalo in the last few days, in trackitt, are cases which had been pending for a very long time - applications sent in 2009. These probably got delayed because of change in family composition etc.

If Buffalo is still in the process of clearing old backlogs, I do not know if and when they will get to ours.
