Yup, the RPRF is USD 490 (or CAD 490) each for principal applicant and spouse/partner. No RPRF for dependent children.

Photo specs here is slightly different from what I received for the CIC application.
Photo size must be 35 mm X 45 mm (1 3/8" X 1 3/4").
Size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31 mm (1 1/4") and 36 mm (1 7/16").

Hi all,
Brisk action from the LA consulate office. I got passport and RPRF request by email from them. Have 60 days to submit these.
All the best!

Congrats Manny!

Sinbad,

I was blessed with my 2nd baby in July 2010. By October 2010 (after receiving his passport and birth certificate in hand) I sent an email to AINP to inform them to add him to my application, they said since I had already applied to CIC before the birth of the baby, I dont need a new nomination from them, i just need to inform CIC directly, which i did (by email).

Subsequently, CIC asked me to submit supporting documents to add him to my application, and now Im in the process of waiting for his medical request.

No passport requests from Buffalo. :'(

Hey chigirl you timelines are similar to mine I did my medicals on July 25th. Keeping fingers crossed to see what happens in coming weeks. Probably Buffalo sends snail mails and we may get it sometime :)

Thanks AG & Jacaranda.
My baby was born on the last week of Oct. I informed CIC with his passport(expedited) and birth certificate on Nov 22 (overnight shipping) with RPRF. Received medical request together with receipts of RPRF and child processing fee last week by post. Did the medicals yesterday. My time line is similar to Manny's...hope to receive passport request by Feb end at least.
Thanks
Sinbad

They are so fickle; never know what to expect. Sometimes, they issue a couple of ppr and then they stop for weeks. Hopefully, the new year will bring some good news.

Congrats Manny. Happy for you.

Just wondering if anybody got Passport request from New York -Canadian Consulate.
My file was transferred to NYC on Oct26, I was requested to pay RPRF (fees only) on Nov 21.

Unlike LA office, it seems NYC and Buffalo offices might request Passports in 2011...

Good Luck!!!

Congratulations!!!

Congrats Many, immigration.help.
Avalap: NY is traditionally slower that LA. When I filed my cic, I did my research on Trackit, and I found that some received PPR couple of weeks after the file transfer. I was in CA then, and wished my transferred to LA. Anyhow, it went to NY and waiting eagerly to hear from NY.

Congrats Bro

Very very well deserved after all the help you have done to people on this forum with your patient posts.

:)Proof also for the fact LA is very fast...somebody complained in the thread (forgot whom it was ) that no news from LA. Compared to all other consulates LA takes care of cases usually in 1-2 months from date of transfer.
