We are planning to move out of US and wanted to know if that affects our application so sent an email to AINP and got the following reply

Thank you for your email. If you move out of the US, then your application for permanent residence may be refused.

If you do move out of the US, you must notify the AINP and CIC in writing.

Hello guys!

I just want to inform you that our ECAS has been updated yesterday with the following statements:

Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

We hope to receive our passports this week. CIC Buffalo received them on October 22.

Thank you.

I have heard many people doing that, people just update the mailing address after medicals or sending application to CIC and move to home country and wait for passport request.
I guess the only requierment was 1 year on h1b to get nomination. After that you should be pretty much free to move.

Chigirl,

At the end of the rainbow there's a Canadian PR waiting for you!

:)))))) Thank you.

Senior members, who have already landed, three quick questions:

(1) Do we use different copies of the B4/B4A for "Good Carrying Now" and "Goods to Follow"? i.e. it is the same form but different copies, correct?

(2) If we forget to add something in the "good to follow" form is there any way to add this later?

(3) What are the typical common question they ask upon landing?

Many thanks for all your help!

Hi,

I guess vsthakkar is talking about AINP Nomination and not CIC process.

Thanks,
L.B

Nope, from his time timeline, vsthakkar appears to have sent in his PR application (post-nomination) to CIC. This response from AINP is pretty upsetting and my hope is that either vsthakkar didn't explain his case well (I doubt though) or the AINP person who replied was under-informed.

I agree with you Manny. I think there was a candidate who moved out of country after his nomination and AINP did work him to file CIC application in home country. AINP has a phone number where this issue can be clarified.

Guys,

we have received nomination in June and sent CIC application in July. I hope too, that the AINP person who replied was under-informed or he is just playing safe by saying it may be denied. I am planning to contact CIC and see what response I get. I was wondering if there are people who moved out of US in between process and got their PR.

Regards,
VT

I agree that person could be misinformed. Another thing is if you got nomination in June, I think AINP was issuing nominations only to those people who have job offer. This factor should be explored if there was any condition attached to nomination along with job offer.

Here is my quick update. I completed my med on July 20. My doctor didn't gave me any tracking # so I was not sure when they got my med. On monday I email Buffalo asking them about the status of my application and today I got this reply back.

We have received the results of your medical exam.

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.
