Hey Amigos,
My Case status shows
We started processing your application on July 22, 2010.

And my medicals were sent late August. So waiting for the news..! Is any one around the world is travelling in the same boat.

Wish you all others good luck.

Cheers,
RoyalHeart.

Hi,

My letter for medical was sent back on July 14, but somehow the letter was lost and finally I got it today.

I was supposed to submit it within 60 days and have already passed that period.

Will CIC accept my medicals if I send them now. is there anyone who have also gone through such situation?

Is it neccessary to get the medical done from the doctors who are listed on the CIC website? Actually, they are very far off from place.

I'll appreciate your replies.

Thanks!!

I am here with the same timeline .medicals reached 23aug.started processing 12 July.waiting for PPR...

Check with AINP on what you should do since CIC is very slow to respond.

Medicals need to be done at CIC approved locations..no matter how far they are. No alternative.

Good Luck!

If it was lost in transit for a while or you were unable to complete the medicals due to some good reason, you have a good case and CIC may consider. Ensure you make a strong case for why you couldn't do the medicals in time.

Apart from that, suggest you call 2 or 3 DMC (approved doctor) near you and also ask them if Meds can be done beyond the 60 days.

Thanks Ajay and Manny for your replies.

I'll call the doctors tomorrow. Do you know how to contact at AINP and CIC offices in this case? Is there any phone no or email where they can be contacted for the questions related to the under processing cases.

Thanks,
Aliya

I have a question:
I am going to submit the RPRF next week along with FBI clearance and state clearance.
how should i send the mail? do i have to put a cover letter? or just the sticker of immigration file number on the outside of the envelope?
and to which address?
please advise, and thanks a lot
i contacted the fbi today, they processed mine and my wife fine after 3 rejections, and should be coming next week for both of us... (that's some record time processing 10 days... it is always good to know someone)
