Dear jpadz ,

what is your NOC? did you order CAIPS during that time?
Do you need to redo your med or they extend it for another year?
I am also on background check. It will not be easy for me to wait so long time.

Best

Hi - how did you get to know that you are on background check? Did CIC inform you when you requested update?

Hi,

Today I received a letter by mail from Buffalo indicating that no need additional documents and waived of th interview. They are asking for RPRF fee i.e. USD 490. What does this means ? After sending RPRF would they ask for passport. I thought they send the request through email.

Please advise.

Thanks

It seems like you're in the final run. You're very likely to get your passport request after you submit your RPRF.

Subject: File Inquiry xxxxx

To whom it may reach,
I received a letter yesterday from your consulate regarding my immigration file with number Bxxxx.
In the letter you state that you received my medical results, and that I have to pay the RPRF fees.
I will be sending a money order this weekend to pay the RPRF fees for both me and my wife.
And you are requesting an updated FBI reports for me and my wife.
I remember that when i sent you the application my fbi reports were expired, and that of my wife were still valid (within 3 months period).
I have been trying to get new FBI clearance for myself (since the original fingerprints i sent you were expired) for the last few month, but my fingerprints had been rejected 3 times in a row already.
I sent the FBI a new set of fingerprints today for me and my wife, and I am hoping that they will except them this time.
My questions is, in case they got rejected this time as well, what should I do?
Please advise me on how to approach this matter. I can send you the rejection letters I have been receiving from the FBI if you want me to. Or I can send you a new California State Clearance for me and my wife as that uses livescan and seems to be less a hassle for me.
thank you

Hello Bibo,

Getting CA police clearance is very fast. You have to send request to Sacramento. The form can printed online. Send the form, finger print card and fee. If you are in SF area, you can get finger print card from SF state university police station. You can send them prepaid express envelop for faster service.

Congrats! There are so many people who have sent their medicals in June and July including your's truly.

I am sure we got a ray of hope with your request. Looking for more RPRF and passport requests.
