Hi everyone.
Here's ma update.
On Aug 17/2010, I got medical request and I did medical test on Aug 31/2010.
and doctor told me she is going to send it within two weeks if there's no problem on my test otherwise, doctor will contact me.
Now, I didn't get any phone call from doctor and today is 3weeks day after medical test.
I hope, my result already reached to DMP.
I checked my e-cas and it says "We started processing your application on August 6, 2010. "

P.S ; cooldeepforyou thaks alot. You gave me really good advise about diabetes.

I beleive there is some confusion here . I remember that none of the members were explicitly asked by CIC to pay the RPRF at the time of medicals. Members voluntarily paid the fees and for the record it does not speed up the process.

:) just wanted to put that out there or else people will start worrying why they have not been asked for RPRF at medicals.

Feras,
I suggest you to drop an email at buffalo inquiry.I haven't been asked for RPRF yet,I have noticed that for some applicants it has been asked along with medicals and for some its asked along passport request.?

Hi Seniors,
I sent my application to CIC, Buffalo in June'01,2010 and my cashier's check got cashed.

The issue is that , I moved from Chicago to Seattle 10 days ago and I sent change of address info to buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca email address and faxed to Mission Fax: (716) 852-4340, Immigration Fax: (716) 852-2477

But i did not get any confirmation email. Is it ok? or do I need to do anything else?

and please let me know the next processes...that means after we submit application to cic, what are the processes?

We are in the same boat with people waiting eagarly for ppr ( Meds reached ottawa in 08/31/2010). I have one question regarding passport Stamping, if we are in Native country, can we go to the local embassy for stamping.

I guess no,you have to go to buffalo for passport stamping.Even I'm not in USA anymore ,I'll rather have my representative fly to usa to do it for me.I think they are processing the medicals reached ottawa in june currently.

You will not get any confirmation for your email/fax for change of addess.
After you have submitted your application, in about 4 months (current processing time), you will receive your AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) and Request for Medicals. Also, request for other documents like your PCCs, if you had not already submitted with your application. They might also a request an interview at this stage (which is extremely rare)

After your medicals in about 3 months (hopefully !!), you will receive your request for passport.

Thanks.

Thanks Manny !!!!

And also, have u come across any cases where one was pregnant and x-rays could not be done... Do i need to take any steps from my side before the birth of the baby...

The doc who did the medicals was telling that i need to inform CIC after the baby is born and that they will send a new set of forms for medicals for mom& baby... Also I did my medicals in aug 2010.. considering 1 yr validity.. I should be getting my request for ppt within a year rite...

BR,
McLuvin
