I was looking at Trackitt.com and the picture is not that great....last year too the things slowed down and came to almost a halt in sep. oct. 2009 timeframe and again picked up in Jan 2010.
Lets hope this year the same trend does not follow.

That's precisely why I am getting a little concerned. Unlike the pp requests, our AORs and Medicals came in pretty consistently. As long as we keep seeing some progress, I don't mind the wait.

To all pessimist about CIC applicaions,
Guys and gals, be positive, think about what your are going to do when you guys get PR. Plan for that in this mean time. Don't worry about processing time, as processing at Buffalo is little faster than other countries like India, Pakistan etc.

No PPR this week as well :( :(.. I think I am the only candidate who did medicals in June and waiting for PPR...

Hey cheer up! Look at it this way: You will probably be the first one to get the next PPR in this group!!

Thanks for your warm words Manny. I know all of us will get it; it's only the matter of time....However, sometimes waiting is so painful and long.....

Since, it is not an isolated case, and all pp request dates have been delayed, I think they have intentionally delayed the "bring forward date" for all files.

Truly said. It might be their intention...who knows!! But should keep high hopes to get soon....

Hello Chigirl,

Can you please elaborate your observation ""bring forward date" please?

we would be getting the 1 year temp visa from the date of medicals, despite the delays in getting PPR, right?

This is the date the visa officer will open your file next. For example, after the officer has opened your file, assessed and issued your AOR, he will make a note of when this file will be visited next, for re assessment.
