As mentioned in previous post by senior folks, I guess its all our convinience till your passport request as we have our B# now. I'm planning to send across the RPRF in a week or two, though its not going to speed up / slow down the process.

Hi,

I did the medicals on Aug5th in MaryLand.

Do you guys advise to take RPRF fee ?? and send it to CIC or Shall I wait for them to ask ..Is there any advantage of sending them with out asking.

Any body has any idea ,that once we got PR do we need to stay in alberta provence or can we stay any where in Canada to get our citizenship after our stay for 3 years ?

Thanks
Virgo

I have one quick question regarding the effect of bar code label on the passport request timeline. I forgot to give the barcode to my doctor last month during the medical exam. Doctor has send the medical to Ottawa without the barcode. Any thoughts??

Hello All,

I would like to ask people who did their medicals done in San Francisco Area. I am from the east cost but i currently got a project here on the west coast. I am a May cic applicant i just want to be prepared. Thanks

Just wanted to know if there is any Mechanical Engineer in this forum??

Pete,

I read somewhere along the forum that the barcode needs to be stick along with the medical results. Kindly read/research about it at cic website or at the instruction that came along with it. Gurus and experts any thoughts about it? Thanks

Just remember now that in Medical form A & B it does mention applicant immigration file number which should be suffice enough for Ottawa office..

Guys,

Medicals are sent by the DMP.......and not applicant...and directly to Ottawa, not CIC buffalo.
Barcode is to be used by applicant in communication with the Visa office.

Moreover they would have clearly mentioned to paste barcode on medicals if it was needed...
Don't sweat.....the barcode is not needed for the medicals........

Medical forms have File #, name, DOB etc for those to be processed correctly in Ottawa..

Hope this helps

Even if you did forget to put the bar code label, your medical form has your file number printed on it. So, you should be ok.

to Virgo:

Where did you go to in Maryland - Bethesda or Gaithersburg? How was the doctor? How long does it take to get an appointment?

Also how much have you paid for the medicals?

Thanks.

Is anyone able to check the Application Status online........
When I fill In my info like File Number, Last Name and DOB .....it does't say anything.........

you should be choosing "immigration file number" for Id number. switch between FN and LN or enter FN LN together.
