As per timelines you should expect AOR and medicals by Mid September.

I also submitted my application to CIC on May 22nd this year. Check was cashed on July 16th. Any idea how much more time its taking for them to send request for Medical and AOR notification. Also I have not received acknowledgment from them even after check was encashed by CIC, is that common or should I have received some notification by email / mail?

hello maykap,

we are on the same time line , still i have no updates from them and as per lawyers advice we should probably getting it around september. Kindly post on any updates soon. Thanks.

Has anyone done PPR processing in person at Buffalo instead of mailing the passport?

http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9HGM2S03.htm

This might be a coincidence, or may be not!

I write an email to cic buffalo enquiring about my application, because it has been more than 3 months since it is "in process", and it has been more than 2 months since they recieved my Medicals.

And voilà !

I get a request for passport in the next 15 minutes.
;D

So repeating the above question, has anyone got his passport stamped in NY, I have to travel in 2 weeks and therefore I don't want to mail my passport.
Although I have till sept end to get it stamped, but I want it sooner :P.

Alright folks get ready for more RFP.

congrats my friend!

Congrats Buddy!!!

Quick question....When people say "Request for documents from AINP: Nov 25 2009" in their timelines what does it mean?
Because I sent my documents in August of 2009 and were received end of August and I have not heard anything but recieved my file number over the phone when I called them. And I was told that when its one year from the time they received my documents then I can call with my file number and inquire how much longer is left before my nomination is sent to me. Please some one explain what this request is so I can prepare. The people at the immigration are very nice and will talk to you very politely and answer all kinds of questions you may have.

Applied for AINP: March 23 2009
Request for documents from AINP: Nov 25 2009
Documents sent to AINP: Nov 25 2009
AINP Nomination: December, 10 2009
Application sent to CIC: Jan, 13 2010
(Application sent without PCC and FBI)
Request for medicals: May 9, 2010
Medicals done and sent to Ottawa: June 10, 2010

Great news to see some activity atlast for June applicants now hope we July folks can hear some thing soon.

Hello All,

Medical Tests were successfully completed last Saturday in Dallas, TX. They charged $250/person, also said they will call me for charges(for Credit Card Info, etc) for sending Medicals to CIC Office.

Thank you all guys for helping me.

Srikanth.

The fact that you've been allocated a file number by AINP indicates that your docs were complete as far as the list of docs to be submitted (quantity). So I would not expect you to get a request for doc. However if any of the doc itself is inconsistent they may ask you for more/newer docs. (quality).

You should've received an email with file number - it has probably gone into your spam email. I suggest you send an email to AINP indicating that you recd file # by phone but haven't recd any email or it has been lost due to spam filter. They will respond if you give them the file number.

Best.
