Hello everybody?
I'm going tomorrow to pick up my PR card at 55 St. Clair Ave. East, Toronto.
I'm not familiar with that area. Do they have a parking place? Or it is
better to get there by subway?

Thanks.

I am okay to take volunteer to create Google Group. As our "AINP Tracking system" is been helpful to many forum members and maintained by Me & Jasper. If Jasper is Okay we both can volunteer for this too.

Let me know.

Hello VSRao/ Jasper,

Am very glad that you guys have volunteered for it.
Let us know where to send the details.

Thanks

Good news. PPR received! I opened my mailbox yesterday and there it was in a brown envelope. I am really happy.

Seniors ,

How long usually it takes for application to appear online for tracking with the number printed behind demand draft (like BXXXXXXXX) ?

my cheque was encashed on 10th May and I'm still not seeing it online...

CIC Received : 23rd MARCH 2010
Cheque Encashed : 10th May 2010

Boston,

Just to give you an idea...
My check got cashed on March 14th.....Application process start date stamped on AOR was June 22nd.........and status online when I check it shows "we started processing your application on June 22nd"
So I would suggest....just wait for AOR.....No need to worry if you don't see anything on ECAS status....

Taking similar time you should see the status & AOR around August 18th

If you assume the time taken from Receipt date of application: You should see AOR & ECAS update around July 15th....

Hello seniors;

I have a little bit of a problem and I would like to know if others have gone through a similar predicament. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had to leave the United States at the end of May, because my H1B expired. My CIC application is currently under process in Buffalo.
If my application is approved, and I get a call for my passport, it is very unlikely that I will be able to travel to the United States to have my passport stamped.

Has anybody got their passport stamped in New Delhi after the application was approved in Buffalo?

Thanks.

Thanks Virgos,

Your first concern will be to ensure you get the AOR and Med request when sent. Hope you have made arrangement for that.
Processing in India is possible and there are others on this forum who have done this. I've not. You will have to indicate to CIC about the change in your residence and they may move your file to NDelhi. AFAIK you will not lose any time because of this.

Manny;

Thankyou for responding.

My application is being processed through Campbell Cohen. So, my lawyer has assured me that the medical and AORs will come to them first.
After, I turned in my application, I did send an email to CIC Delhi, asking if my file can be transferred. Their response was that they do not transfer files.

So, I am hoping that they will atleast let me have my passport stamped in Delhi.

If you know of any other members, who have had their passports stamped in Delhi, please let me know. I will try and get in touch with them.

Thanks.
