Hello people,

I was able to open the spreadsheet, but I am not able to edit it because I do not have access.

Thanks.

Hello Friends,

One should be able to directly edit the spreadsheet and upload the info.
Incase, a user id and pwd are required, please use the following gmail account details

User ID - Alberta.ainp@gmail.com
Pwd - ainpcanada

Thanks

Dear Avalap,

You are doing best effort , but I think this is not secure way.

One day some weired guy will change this and will mess up everything.

So better think some good way

From the spreadsheet I see only one member who applied in June 2010. Is there a reason why no one filed in June?

I applied on the 10th June and CIC received my application on 11th, check not encashed yet.... its going to be 4 weeks tomorrow

All,

How long do we have to wait before we see any updates on CIC - e-cas online once we send RPRF check? I send my RPRF on July 1, and so far the only information I see on e-cas is " On - process".

My medical was completed on July 1 as well. and they have already been submitted to Ottawa with in 2 days.

Thanks,

Hi, No Idea.

Well, Did CIC ask you to submit RPRF separately?

They sent me 2 documents
1) Application for Medical (Green paper) and
2) Letter where they mentioned that I don't have to submit any additional documents (Since I already sent them all required valid documents with my initial application) and request to pay RPRF as soon as possible.

Thanks

Hello Priya,

Thanks for your comments. Yea, I agree that the spreadsheet isnt secure and some disgruntled person (if any) may edit the valuable info to scrap.

The other option I can think of is that I can be the Point of Contact for collecting and maintaining the data and give only view access to all other folks.

Friends - If this sounds good, please email me the following details and I will update the details on the spreadsheet.

My email address is apk7677@gmail.com

  • Name/User Name -
    Occupation-
    Specialization-
    Currently in Canada/USA
    Current State -
    Email-
    Phone(Optional)-
While in Canada I volunteer -
While in US I volunteer -
In Canda, I wish to participate in AINP Community get to-gether -

Let me know your thoughts..

Thanks

Recieved AOR and Medical Request - 07/02/10
Medical done on 07/03/2010

Congrates now you are just 1 step away! :)

Avalap,

You can invite people to collaborate. That way you can give access to gmail IDs of people who wish to volunteer help.

Cheers,

All AINP fellows,

This is a great Idea to network. After spending so many years in US, we have lot in common than a regular immigrant in Canada. However listing our names and telephone #'s openly is not a good idea. (Anybody remember Alberta Governor?). We have been on this forum since 2008 and everybody knows the serious players here. Let us select one member (Avalap, Manny, Despo, Jasper or other dependable member) and email our info directly to that person. He/She can compile a list and email that list to all the established
people here.
I do not want to miss the opportunity of Networking, Especially we are going in a new country and Info/experiences/help/job leads from each other will go long way in our new life.

I 2nd that!

I kinda agree with that.......

But also think no nody like albertgov...can do any harm to group

Why can't it be a google group with members registered after validation om phone......and let it be an excluive group....

I like the initiative and support it 100%

Alright then, we can create a Google group, but we have to start with direct email address and tel # for validation. Even if this forum is shut down we can be in touch with each others. We need a volunteer to whom known members will start sending info. Despo,Vsrao & Jasper come to my mind. Please suggest.
