Looking at the current processing times, it may take anywhere between 3-1/2 to 4 months after submission.

Does anyone know how long it is taking to get PPR request from New York Consulate once they have confirmed receipt of PCC, RPRF and Medical reports? I got an email from them a few days ago stating that they have received my documents and that they are being processed. Just wondering how long is this wait going to be!

I don't think they are sending confirmation email to everyone. I had submitted an inquiry via their online system to check if they had received all the documents.

Hi Folks,

I have posted my timeline before. I wanted to get this forum's opinion on:

(1) How long after submitting medicals, do they let us know if additional tests are needed?
(2) If no additional tests are needed when do they let us know? What communication/step is next?

I'm planning a trip back home and don't know when the next step will come, so any help will be appreciated.

Many thanks!

As a general rule of thumb, neither CIC Buffalo nor Ottawa nor Local Canadian Consulate inform applicants of receipts of any documents, but after some time, say 1 or 2 months have passed after you have sent them, you can send them email or a fax to inquire the receipt of the documents. In such instances, they will reply back. Fax numbers and email addresses for each location or processing unit of CIC are posted on their respective websites. Hope this helps.

Hello Friends,

Just a quick question. Probably a silly one. In the AINP certificate I received, the Buffalo NY CIC address is mentioned as

3000 HSBC Center
Buffalo NY 14203

However in the CIC Buffalo website the address is mentioned as

1 HSBC Center STE 3000
Buffalo NY 14203

Are both the address correct? I sent to the address mentioned in AINP nomination certificate. Please advise.
