Congrats to AKK for passport request and Confederations Cup win. The US team was playing well until the halftime (or Brazil was not trying hard), but after the half Kaka and Fabiano showed the US team how to play the game of soccer/football.

Thank you guys!

However, I am just confused because the letter states that "medical exam should be scheduled 3 months after receiving the letter" but the letter has no date. I know that someone in the forum asked the same question before but I can't remember who and what the answer is. Please enlighten me on this.

Thanks!

jpadz,

Congrats!

The date should be below your file number/bar code (at least that is how it was in my case). Did they send you the medical form? Just get it done immediately.

In my case, the letter said (paraphrasing) 'failure to do medicals within 60 days will result in unnecessary delays in processing your application'. So I got it done within 2 weeks.

Thanks mango!

I rechecked the package that has arrived but I really couldn't find the date of the letter.

The phrase "within 60 days" couldn't be located. Do you think that the letter I received is different from yours and everybody else?

japadz,

whether it states 60 days or not, just get the medicals done asap. If you got the letter today, and even if you allow 10 days for postal delivery, still you have 50 days window. Don't spend time on investigating, but just act. Once you did the process in time then you are just fine. Hope you get what I am saying.

Good luck.

jpadz,

Maybe my letter is different, not yours;-)

I agree completely with dna- just get the medicals done asap. The sooner, the better!

dna,

Thanks for the advice. I am a just worried because my wife is pregnant and she can't have a chest x-ray. So, we need her to give birth first before we will schedule the medical exam. She's due anytime soon though. Besides that, I also need to include our newborn in our application. And accordingly, she needs to have a medical exam as well. I hope you get what I mean. Thanks.

Does CIC know about your wife's pregnancy and when the baby is due? IF yes then may be that's why they extended the date of the medical.

I understand your dilemma. However, in such a case you have to tell CIC and try to call/email them. I remember one person was given enough time for medicals so that he could include the newborn and also do medicals of his wife after pregnancy. My point is time and opportunity should not be lost by assuming things.

Good luck and congratulations on soon-to-be a proud father.

Bendjoe & Rascojenkins,
Did you guys register your profiles in trackitt.com site? Do you mind sharing links here? Just to know about your file transfer and medicals completed dates.

I wish every body hears good news from local consulates about ppr very soon.
